  2. bad news for Seat drivers, this download section has been gone https://www.seat.com/owners/my-seat/navigation/ibiza.html
  3. becomes a tradition, one year old 1810 map files placed on Škoda's server with half year delay, first post has been edited.
  4. is 5 band equalizer standard just for 10" Columbus? mine current 8" 2016 Columbus has just 3 bands + sub 😞 asking cause next Superb 280ps has been ordered with 8" Amundsen, Columbus were skipped cause extra €900 in price and missing physical rotary volume control what else i can lose: smaller screen - not critical audio/video playback - never used in current Columbus, all played from smartphone ??? ?? ?
  5. Click on links i posted above
  6. in one word "idiots" and 18" can't be changed to smaller for 280ps 4x4 + L&K/Scout/Sportline while 280ps 4x4 + Ambition/Elegance comes with 17" Stratos in next 2023. car i will swap spare wheel from current car, 18" as spare wheel is worst of all choices -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/503478-installing-spare-wheel/?tab=comments#comment-5653889
  7. 18" is worst of all choices Pros and Cons have been described already: a) same size as all other wheels -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/493502-full-sized-tyre-as-spare/ + can be installed on any axle + can be used for unlimited distances + no size diff = no speed limits + Cruise control will be available - boot floor will be pushed few cm up - most expensive b) custom 205/65r16, full diameter (my choice for 220ps) -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/442912-full-size-spare-wheel/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-5040470 + minor width diff will provide safe driving on + 30% of speed printed on spare disc. Important note, when installed on rear axle. + can be used for longer distances + minor circumference diff will provide ability of Cruise control usage. In theory, i haven't had to test it after OEM 205/55r16 were replaced. + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot. - !!! doesn't fit on 272/280ps even on rear axle !!! c) custom 205/60r17, full diameter (my choice for 280ps) Pros are equal to b and fits on 272/280ps, which has bigger brake discs, 340/310, while all rest have 310/298 (front/rear) d) OEM 205/55r16 + lot wider than 'd' = safer than 'd', but don't think printed speed limit can be exceed more than + 10%, even when installed on rear axle. + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot - huge circumference difference disables usage of Cruise Control - huge circumference difference isn't healthy for 4x4 e) OEM 125/70r18 + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot - huge width difference = absolutely unsafe, even when installed or rear axle. - huge circumference difference disables usage of Cruise Control - huge circumference difference isn't healthy for 4x4 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/494383-can-anyone-with-a-20-tsi-220-factory-spare-wheel-tell-me-the-size/?do=findComment&comment=5550057 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/493502-full-sized-tyre-as-spare/?do=findComment&comment=5556680
  8. Superb: + more power with less weight + lot superior feel in cabin + bigger trunk space, even in hatchback + hatchbacks have clear rear window in bad weather Kodiaq: + longer distance in forward view + better on roads without asphalt next already ordered - Superb L&K 2.0 TSI 280ps 4x4
  9. and price +15%

  12. ordered yesterday L&K 280 Sportline has less equipment with €1.5k higher price missing equipment for me: L&K - Black Exterior pack, interested at least for doors, because "chrome" dies so fast. Sportline - Vented seats, Safety lights for rear doors, phone/tablet holder under headrest both can't be ordered with 17" alloys 😞
  13. 16" will be better choice -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/502386-spare-wheel/?tab=comments#comment-5640572
  14. @Donweather measure better to center of wheel, then result won't depend on disc and tire sizes example -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/?do=findComment&comment=5625462
  15. all good on OEM Stratos 7JX17 ET40 are mounted winter's Bridgestone Blizzak Ice 225/55 R17 101T XL but summer's Michelin Primacy 3 225/55 R17 are mounted on AVUS Racing AC-515 Felgen black 7.5x17 E45 pictures: -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/378824-low-frequency-boom-in-cabin/?do=findComment&comment=4886031 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/?do=findComment&comment=5625462 p.s. prepare before tires install, order some Direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/434028-tire-pressure-monitoring-system/?do=findComment&comment=4893182
  16. Perfectly, have installed 225/55r17 97Y Michelin Primacy 3 in far 2017
  17. 225/55r17 is perfect choice +1.5% in diameter what gives less wheel spin on the wet and closer to reality values on speedometer, -2km for each 100km, default is -5km +5mm in height what gives ground clearance +10mm in width what gives better grip 5mm wider side, better protection for alloys
  18. yes, without visit CAR -> Settings -> Light most of time i have `Late` but in the evening, for me very rarely, i have to switch to `Early` in other case High beam can be activate only manually 175Mb video http://www.superfm.lv/m/Auto/Superb_2016/20190825_no_Automatic_Highbeam_02.mp4 ~ 15 minutes later it started to work automatically also with parameter `Late`
  19. found it https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/368574-vcds-options-on-superb-iii/page/69/?tab=comments#comment-5338494 it's perfect for DRL/Xenon switching, but extremely too late for automatic High Beam, sometime have to visit subsection in head unit and change 'Late' to 'Early'

  21. that is real pain, when you to drive ~80 kms without Cruise Control and have to keep less speed than flow really can't understand where is problem, twice click on links i posted above - Pros and Cons have been described already: a) same size as all other wheels + can be installed on any axle + can be used for longer distances + no size diff = no speed limits + Cruise control will be available - boot floor will be pushed few cm up - most expensive b) custom 205/65r16 (my choice) + minor width diff will provide safe driving on + 30% of speed printed on spare disc. Important note, when installed on rear axle. + minor circumference diff will provide ability of Cruise control usage. In theory, i haven't had to use this spare after tire were changed. + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot. c) OEM 205/55r16 + lot wider than 'd' = safer than 'd', but don't think printed speed limit can be exceed more than + 10%, even when installed on rear axle. + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot - huge circumference difference disables usage of Cruise Control - huge circumference difference isn't healthy for 4x4 d) OEM 125/70r18 + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot - huge width difference = absolutely unsafe, even when installed or rear axle. - huge circumference difference disables usage of Cruise Control - huge circumference difference isn't healthy for 4x4
  22. closest is 205/65r16, open links in this link -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/500478-skoda-superb-sportline-2017-spare-wheel/?tab=comments#comment-5618089

  24. it's more about safety, fogs are brighter than brakes - when rear driver's eyes adapt to bright fog light then weaker brake light may go unnoticed
  25. @Legion measuring to center of wheel will exclude difference created by size of tire and disc Sportline DCC isn't the same as optional Sport suspension huge count of pictures -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/ https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/481954-lowering-springs-install-on-a-280272-sportline-diy-and-results/ https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/488315-has-anyone-tried-or-installed-the-koni-special-active/
