Hi. Does anyone have access - point me in direction of when VAQ diff should have the oil changed. I’ve read on Vw golf forum mentions of 3 years but cannot find anything concrete to confirm what it is for the Skoda. Has as anyone got workshop schedule for 2016 Octavia VRS 230??

Hi. Can anyone confirm if vrs has one fan - big one I can see when bonnet open or another maybe behind this I can’t see? trying to investigate air conditioning issue. Is there a smaller fan tucked away ?? Thanks ryan

Rear shock absorbers faulty by design from the factory possibly. Search my previous postings! Same issue on golf for some. Pay 7 Euro and use Erwin to check your vin for a TPI. Good luck

I have reviewed measurement and the footwell vent temp is a lot higher than other measurements. Ide00981 Would thisnindicate a faulty sensor? any advice appreciated. Ryan

Hi inhave just got vcds and have seen this measure. Car is 2nd hand and purchased 2.5 weeks ago. Should i I be worried there is something a-miss?? i have an air conditioning issue but stumbled across this.

Thanks for reply. I took the car to Air Con recommended garage to me and had the gas weighed - not down and in order. No leaks either. Appears the fan doesnt start - just got to get to the bottom of why.

I have read reference to tpi previously - you aware of tpi reference number??

Hi all. I have an issues with with my car and wish to be armed with plenty of information prior to attending Skoda next week. My my problem is the air conditioning does not get cold and the conndeser fan does not kick in when ac pressed. Can anyone advise which fuse is for the ac for the fan - under the bonnet or behind glovebox. So i can eliminate the fuse. Thanks all

Hi. Thought id share results of a my attempts to restore my leather bolsters on drivers seat to some kind of former glory. Before. And the after. Order learher dye from the Leathercare Company - recommended on another forum. Auto Leather Recolour very impressed with results. No protection on top yet - taped off unaffected areas best I could. Very pleased indeed.

Zero rim protection from tyre on monte wheels. Photos of gator.

Wife has alloygators fitted to Fabia Monte Carlo as no rim protection from the low profile tyre. Have saved a lot of money on potential refurbs. Not had had to change any yet but imagine rim will be fine - the alloygator being the sacrificial material vs the kerb. I think it enhances the look on the car. I can can get some photos but Monte rims so not direct comparison. Ryan

I have a 2016 VRS petrol and have noticed that it has a crack appear in the centre of the steering wheel where you press the horn. Below the emblem! Is therhis his wear and tear or a fault replaceable on warranty? thanks ryan

Well I’ve checked and none on sides around wheel arch - just on front and rear bumpers - I guess that means I don’t have park pilot? If not wasted 15 minutes in a car park this evening - getting very frustrated. Doh it just confused me because of the menu. The car is 2nd hand by the way.

When you say all around - where are the other sensors apart from the front and rear bumpers sorry of if that’s a dumb thing to ask??

I have a 2016 vrs and have park pilot menu - I have read the instructions but makes no sense. I have no rear ear camera but have front and rear parking sensors. My reverse lights work when engage reveal as have read this has been an issue for some? so my question is - do I have facility where car will do the parking if I do brake, accelerator and it does the steering? ive tried for 15 minutes to get it to bloody park and it won’t. Screenshots from car. I have ‘p’ button and cone in front of gear knob. Any help or advice appreciated. Ryan.
