That is the rev limiter, or something like that. In my current Octavia VRS you have to switch ESP off, or to sport mode and then you can rev it up to the red line. Or whyle the car is mooving in neutral.

Mine is at the dealer for one week now, so says the leasing company. I am waiting for registration and I will be able to pick it up around middle of next month. To bad is that I cant even see it, (too far to drive only for that), and I don't really know if it is MY17 or MY18... Of course the leasing company doesn't care to help me with this information. For them MY17 or MY18 its the same.

That's what I've heard, that it's a must on Superb. I have both on actual vRS TDI, and could not live without...

Is it lowered, or this is the standard sport suspension? Looks so good. I wanted to for sportline, but couldn't fit into monthly rate. In the end I ordered Style (equivalent with SEL trim in UK I think). I also ordered sport suspension and progressive steering. If it will look the same with sport suspension I will be very glad.

Officialy ordered today Skoda Superb 190 DSG. I am a little bit sad because I really like my current VRS but I still can't get used with the front of the facelift model. Also it is not available in RO yet, but that wouldn't be a real problem. I hope that over 3 years when I will change again the car, Octavia 4 VRS will look better and I will come back.

Super. This colour is perfect. Definnetly will go for it. I like it, and also I am making a change from Octavia VRS to Superb, so a colour change is a needed.

I would be happy to do that, however company rules won't allow. Only diesel..... :) Still haven't found if driving mode selection eliminates or at least makes the throttle more responsive in sport mode. :D OK, I will have a drive test. I hope to find a Superb with this engine to some dealer near me.

Ok. I am cool now. I was thinking it is strange that the oil consumption increased with the mileage. Anyhow I will change the car in june, so hopefully won't have any problems until then.

Hi. How much engine oil does your car take between two service intervals? Mine seems to be running on engine oil and not on diesel. I have flexible service interval and until now I changed the oil always at 30.000 km. First time didn't took engine oil almoast at all. Second time It took something like 500 ml on the whole 30.000 km interval. Now I have 85.000 km on odometer and it is the second time that I have to fill up with oil. Almoast 1liter since last oil change, at 60.000 km. Isn't that a little bit too much? BR Cip

Eeeeh. It has to be purchased through one specific leasing company that my employer is working with. I will try to look for stocks at dealers or I will go for passat/ superb sportline. Much bigger car that I don't need, but I can't deal with those headlights... :no:

Honestly I really believe that Jozef Kabaň has had a few shots of vodka before drawing that facelift. Especially the headlights, the rest of it let's say it's not WOW, but after all it is a skoda and it works. I am so upset of because I really wanted to go for the second VRS Octavia...

Oups. Porsche RO has removed Octavia from configurator. So I presume that they are preparing the facelift.... That is bad. I hoped that they will launch it later in RO and I will have the time to order another pre-facelift model....
