Automatics seem to suffer a lot within the Citigo range. If only they’d put the DSG gearbox in I’d imagine there wouldn’t be many problems.
With the smell, has the air filter been changed? How many miles have been done?

Oh I know they can help me. I just never had a puncture like this, so I don't know how reliable is the fix over time in the hot Mediterranean climate.
Puncture repairs can be done within the centre (75%) of the tyre. I think yours is within this boundary.
Might be different in Greece however

Slow puncture?

I have actually bought this one of Amazon gets good reviews and seems easy to install, I just need to install. It has it's own screen.
Check it out see what you think.
Sounds good. I think the monitor would personally annoy me but apart from that it looks good. Gets good reviews too. I’d be interested to see what the end product looks like.

I’ve been wanting a reversing camera.. let us know how you get on.
will you be using the little factory radio screen?

I think I’ve got this issue. Gonna check again later and see if it’s the same.

I’ve got VAX 6131, works perfectly for wet and dry

Try an independent garage, should come out cheaper for sure!

That’s unfortunate. I know a lot on here have loved their Citigo’s, best city cars around most say. Unfortunately there’s always afew that sneak through that have problems, maybe yours was one?
i hope the next car you get doesn’t turn out to be as much of an issue.

To update the firmware you need to connect it to a computer.
You'll also need to download the garmin fresh software onto your computer
for updated maps It’ll cost unless you’ve already bought updates.

Unfortunately the manual doesn’t seem to mention the relays, but it does mention the fuses.
Fuses located under the steering wheel;
F20 rear window heating
F46 12v auxiliary socket
F47 air blower for AC
-
Using a multimeter check the relevant fuses and relay for power.

Yeah upto 19mph

Is the PID updated to the latest firmware?

Is the airbag switch part of the City Safe package? And what's the point of having an off switch for City Safe collision sensor?
Citysafe button is there for when your meant to manually de activate it in certain conditions mentioned in the handbook. From what I remember snow and ice was one I’m sure.
Passenger Air bag de-activation is standard on all cars now?

Very interesting to see a button next to the tyre pressure. Is that traction control on/off? And why haven't I got one!!!?
Would have been very useful to allow a bit of wheelspin to get off a sloping snowy driveway this year instead of the car thinking "uh-oh, wheelspin" and cutting the drive to the wheel.
Unfortunately it’s not traction control, although I see where your coming from, I also thought it was when the car arrived
its the citysafe button to de-activate or activate it.

shows climate control and the radio, when turned off it shows the time, in 24hrs or 12hrs.
engaging reverse brings up this little diagram of the back of the car, as it only has rear sensors. Goes from amber to red the closer you get to an obstacle.
this was the closest I dared to go in the position the car was in, as the N/R was very close to house wall, possibly out of the sensors range.
The next two bars (N/R sensor) on the screen would turn red if I had gone further back.
Hope this helps @RickW

citysafe button next to the TPMS.
cruise control with full beams (push back towards the windscreen for coming home lights, or parking lights by indicating which way.)
autolights
windscreen wipers, shows the sensitivity you want it to work with, mine being on full sensitivity (senses the littlest of rain drops).
a little video;
I was bored as I wanted to clean the car but the weather stopped play!

Ok thanks.
What's the rain sensor like? And has the collision sensor ever kicked in?
Light sensor works perfectly
rain sensor usually works perfectly, sometimes it takes afew goes before it’ll sense the rain (I’ve had to turn it off and on a few times) but once it’s sensing it works more efficiently than my parent’s Civic does. I.e it’ll select the right speed for the amount of rain it’s sensing perfectly.
City safe is a bit hit and miss, most times so far this winter (bearing in mind I’ve only had it since November, so it maybe due to the cold weather?) it’ll through up a message saying Citysafe inactive. So I gotta press the button to deactive it and then reactive it. I’ve never had it kick in though. There’s a video of it in action on YouTube (by carwow I think) showing it sensing a large industrial bin and braking without it touching.

Thanks Jonny, can't say we'd remember to push the stalk back everytime if we got it.
Yeah I don’t really bother with the coming home ones. I’d prefer it to be automatic once ignition is off for them to stay on for 30 seconds or so.

Just done my first longer run, A64 York - Scarborough. The Citigo is very comfortable to drive and copes fairly well with the hills, although I did nearly need to drop to 3rd but it did manage in 4th, dropped to 44mph. That’s probably where a turbo 1L would help?
It was also an economical run, getting 55.2mpg.
To be honest, I was surprised how well it coped.
