Having read above, it kinda sounds as though it’s something water related. It sounds as though @xop321 just let the car dry out and all returned to normal. Have you experienced anything unusual relating to moisture in the car? Mists up a lot? Or, like @xop321 have you cleaned the interior?

Mines 4°c or below. I don’t think it should beep, just flash would be fine. It’s annoying while ya driving and then it suddenly beeps... wonder if OBDeleven can turn it off

An intermittent feed? In other words not a constant supply of voltage to the wiper motor?

Did you buy the pro bundle? You’ll need pro to use APPs and most other features, live data, fault codes etc.

Checked OBDeleven and they have actually added abit more in APPS for the Citigo. I’ve just enabled cornering fogs. other things you can do; rear lights with DRLS (10 credits) DRLs on/off (10 credits) tear drop wiper (10 credits) cornering fogs (10 credits) mirrorlink (100 credits) service reset (100 credits) possibly afew things I’ve missed but atleast there’s alittle now

I’d check all the offside bulbs are correct, front and rear as F16 is for both. If they’re all alright then it’s either wiring or the central control unit.

If you took the bulb out and it still burns then it’s the wiring? we’d had a fuse blow instantly without the ignition on in a Ford Puma, turned out it was ABS wiring loom shorting. Took a while to find it like.

Could do to find out what the fuse is for. I’ll have a look when we know the model.. Edit: its must be an Octavia considering we’re in the Octavia forum.

I had asked OBDeleven on Facebook if they could add more apps for the Citigo. They got back to me today and said they had, so when I get chance I’m gonna check and hope they have.

Because of the branding GTI. GTI ‘makes’ it sound better and faster but in reality it isn’t, especially in the UP!s’ case.

One of the reasons I changed mine, the little things are the most annoying!

Good point! Should have 3 yrs roadside breakdown. That’ll get it into a garage sooner

See if anyone in the South Wales area on here can scan it for you, then you’ll know what your dealing with.

If the EML is on then ya best bet is to get it scanned for fault codes and see what comes up. Also I wouldn’t drive the Citigo until you take it to a garage as the fault is at the moment unknown. It could just make things a lot worse.

A bit of confusion here... ECS = Electronic Stability Contol however the light you’ve circled looks like an EML (Engine management light). have you got an actual photo of the light on the Citigo’s dash?

Yeah it’s output is around 1.5, it doesn’t really charge anything it just keeps the devices battery from dropping rapidly. saying that, it did charge my LED torch -but very slowly

If others are like me, I want the newest thing out, it’s the way I am - I love new technology. So if that’s the cheapest way to get the newest of new cars then I can see why people do it. I don’t do it that way at the moment, I wouldn’t be able to but maybe in future I will (but only on a 0% APR, anything more and it isn’t worth it!!)

So it’s pretty much the same, just that the display is now ‘black and white’ instead of ‘green and black’ which in theory should make it easier to read.

Looks like a maxi dot that, centre display is black and white, and is set out exactly like mine. I believe it’ll be something like this; (Note: not my photo, got it from a previous ebay sale so can’t alter the quality but you get the idea)

Obviously would be better if it were a Citigo VRS 1L turbo.. but I don’t think that’s gonna happen anytime soon
