  1. A little more complicated than just a coding then! In my naevity I didn't consider that I'd need to change the lights. Thank you very much for your replies. Much appreciated.
  2. Hi Folks. I own a 2016 Superb 2.0 TDI SeL executive and I am looking to find out if I can code the vehicle to change the indicators from standard to dynamic (sweeping) with OBDeleven. (Unfortunately there is no one-click app?) Any help appreciated. TIA
  3. That's good news. Thanks for sharing. I've just done a 144 mile journey and have obdeleven scanned with ignition on / engine off. No gearbox error codes, so that confirms that the above error codes will be present if the engine is running. Many thanks for your help.
  4. That's interesting. Thank you. Let me know After you get round to scanning yours again?
  5. Thanks for your reply. I didn't scan whilst driving but the engine was running/car stationary whilst scanning. Would this have caused it maybe?
  6. Hi Folks, I need some advice regarding a series of gearbox error codes on my 16' Superb 2.0tdi DSG (6 speed) detected during a scan with OBDeleven. I have attached a screenshot of the error codes. The car has been running fine and the gearbox behaving as it should but this is the 2nd time I have had these codes present after clearing the same fault codes a few weeks back. Should I be concerned? Thank you
  7. Is there anyway of monitoring the Dpf using theVAGObdeleven app ?
  8. Thank you for your replies. It's a shame the App doesn't work with the OBDeleven adapter. I bought it for this purpose thinking this would work to monitor the Dpf. I'll have to buy a cheap ELM dongle. Many thanks.
  9. I am looking to monitor the Dpf on my 2016 Skoda Superb 2.0tdi DSG and having purchased the OBDeleven adapter / downloaded the OBDVaG app. Can anyone offer any advice on how to do this, what Readings I need to monitor and how to set this up so that I know when there might be a Dpf issue? Many thanks.
  10. Just a quick update for others with this issue. Identified the part number required for the OSR door lock (with help from a really helpful, long standing member on this forum) and fitted it this morning (Took about an hour, for me anyway!) nice, easy job and now works perfectly. Door lock part came from a 24' model Seat Arona as it'sthe same but superceeded part. Many thanks for all your help. (What a great useful forum this is - I've been a member for some years)
  11. Thank you all. Yes, it seems to be working fine now, after the joystick 'wiggle' but if it happens again I will try some contact cleaner. Many thanks. 😊
  12. Many thanks for your help and advice. It's much appreciated. 🙂
  13. Sorry.......also where did you buy your repair manual from? Thank you. 😊
  14. That's brilliant and very detailed, Thank you. How did you ID the correct part needed?
  15. Thank you both for your replies. The vehicle battery is fairly new so I've kind of discounted this. The fault has changed and now means that the drivers side rear door does not lock at all now, even though the other doors are locked, so I think as NikiB has suggested it may have a faulty door lock? NikiB, was this an fairly straight forward job once the door card is removed? Any advice regarding the steps to replace this would be greatly appreciated as I've not long bought the vehicle.
  16. Hi Folks. I own a Superb 2.0tdi DSG 2016 and have an issue with the doors locking and unlocking when I reach the 10mph auto locking speed. They go to lock and then unlock straight away. If I use the internal door lock button next to the Auto gear lever, it locks and then opens again as though the locks are bouncing. Any idea what the cause could be? Thanks.
  17. Actually......... Forget that comment. I've just tried it for a second time and it seems to have reset and is now working fine. Thanks for your help. 😃
  18. Hi Numskull, thanks for your reply. The spec is a 2.0tdi Dsg SE L executive. (I think it has this option as the switch shows the folding mirror symbol at around the 7 o'clock position) I have tried as you suggested and it has made no difference. Means there's a fault I presume? Thanks.
  19. Hi Folks. Just bought a Superb 2.0tdi DSG on a 16' plate having just sold my 20 Yo Fabia Vrs which I'd owned for some time. Anyway, I might be me, but I can't seem to be able to get the door Mirrors to fold in automatically when locking the car? I have the fold option enabled on the mirror switch and in the mirror option within the screen menu. I am doing something wrong? I presume it has this option as the drivers door switch has a position for this function? Thanks.
  20. Thanks for your reply Pete. I haven't changed these aluminium tubes but it's a good point. I cleaned them out as best I could with a drill bit and the metal ferrules of the new cable slid in nicely with some copper grease around them. It does appear that the cable on the NS is sticking even though it's new so I guess there's not much else it could be. I'll check this out and report back. Appreciate your advice.
  21. Thanks for the reply. Yes, this is what I did with the original caliper to keep it limping along but the caliper is now new along with the handbrake cable and the caliper HB lever is still sticking? I'm wondering if there's a process to setting up the caliper before the HB cable is adjusted?
  22. Yes, the replacement caliper actually came with these helper springs but I did have a set fitted to the originals as well. Thanks.
  23. Sorry....Fabia Vrs 1.9tdi 55reg.
  24. Hi Folks. I have replaced both handbrake cables and the NSR brake caliper, along with new discs and pads due to the NSR brake sticking which was causing it to get a little warm. I worked out pretty quickly that the NSR caliper handbrake lever was not returning fully and had to be manually pushed back onto it's stop. The issue I have is, the handbrake lever is still not returning fully and the brake is still getting hot. (Only on the NSR) Is there a process for setting up the brake caliper adjustment before the connecting and adjusting the handbrake cable and could this be causing the issue? Thank you.
  25. No, mine were from a different company. Just ask him to check the hose position before he fits it. I fitted others in the past and never had any trouble.
