I have the same problem with "lights failure" warning appearing every now and then. No lights are out - they are all working. I just live with it now. John

Does this engine suffer with the 2.0PD oil pump failure issue as on the Superb? Also is the DPF any more robust than the Superb one forcing you into limp mode if you only do low MPH journeys. Thanks in advance

I had this problem with both front doors with water coming from behind the door card. Finished up having both carriers replaced - Ouch!!!!

I am sure I have read somewhere on this site that spraying the seat belts with polish and wiping them will help them retract into the pillar - is this correct or any other ideas rather than replacement? Thanks in advance

On my Elegance I have to flash the headlights to get the coming home lights on. If I dont flash them it does not come on.

Noticed the other day when out in the dark that the driver door handle ambient light not working. The other three doors work fine. How does it connect to power - is there a supply lead under the door card and what sort of bulb is involved. Thanks in advance for any help.

Final update: 11.10 this morning (15th June) received email from Allams aying my order has been despatched. 11.40 this morning (15th June) I receive another email saying order cancelled - not bad only taken them 10 days to tell me.

Around the town between 28 - 36 but on a run top 40's or even 50 plus if you are sensible with the throttle. On cruise control - this is best economy on a motorway.

I think the car is absolutely "Superb" - excuse the pun. I know it is old technology but it is a fantastic car if you look after it. Smooooooth and quietly efficient in my opinion - although many on this site swear by the 4 pot 1.9 rattle box for both economy and reliability. I would NOT swap mine.
