Front assist not available
SWBoy replied to Soundstorm's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Do you have the ESC set to On (not Sport or Off)? I've noticed that when I set ESC to anything other than On the message "Front Assist not available" is shown on the Maxidot. -
And long may it remain so

The number of classics is infinitesimally small compared to the number of vehicles worldwide so despite their greater emissions their contribution to pollution levels is minute. So IMHO there's no sensible environmental reason not to be allowed to keep them running (moving exhibits always have more meaning than static ones), but the costs of running them will inevitably escalate.

Coping with tunnels (where GPS won't work) would require the laser sensor method (used by car manufacturers while testing) and since most cars have GPS anyway for the sat nav that could be used as a backup with any significant difference (when a GPS signal is being received) being flagged as a possible fault?

One I go through regularly in Barnstaple - in the middle of a 30mph limit - triggers when doing 27mph. I never said they were all at the entry of a 20 or 30mph limit .

Strange, because all the RAF personnel I talked to who were based at Odiham referred to them as "Junglies"? Know what you mean about "Wokka" though Anyway, back on subject... Bells

Latest Infotainment version Bolero
SWBoy replied to aldouk's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Most of those are NOT genuine cables which only run with a hacked old version of VCDS - and which means you will get NO support from Ross-Tech or here (as we don't support third-party rip-offs). Some sellers will even claim they are a genuine VCDS cable but normally they are not. Spend the money, get the real thing and get support...
