  1. Believe the last 245s are scheduled for wk 22 then a gap till wk31 when the MY19 version start
  2. Yes appears at bottom of the page as an option to select if available
  3. Our cars could be on the same boat Was told by chat team that cars are typically at Emden 7-10 days before boarding a ship. End of month just seems so far away.
  4. Hang on in there mate. Mine was built on 2nd May but has only arrived at Emden today. Think they must have pushed it there
  5. Hoping my dealer will turn it round pretty quick as i’m Still driving my old mk3 due to the delay and they now own it so the longer they take the longer they wait to get their car back and sell it
  6. Right skoda chat just confirmed my car has been built and is on its way to the port of Emden. when I asked timescales they said it takes a couple of days to get to the port then a week on average to be loaded onto a ship. Overall timescales 6-8 weeks for delivery.... wtf!! what delivery timescales have others had recently? Was expecting 3-4 weeks
  7. Heard it will also offer as standard, the function which automatically stops the car if car in front stops or pedestrian walks out - is now standard on the Fabia and believe it’s being rolled out to all models. (sorry can’t remember what it’s called)
  8. Would love to map the new 245 wen I get it but is a lease... maybe in 3 years if the price is good
  9. Do you drive like a slug in eco mode with air con off? 47mpg is what i’m getting in my diesel vrs over 38k Miles
  10. Cheers - tried but said no build date yet confirmed Defo out of date. Will try web chat team tomorrow
  11. Seem to recall someone on here saying you could find out about your order by visiting a website and input your order number...anyone know the site address as the Skoda we chat team have closed for the evening and my cars being built this week so wanna find out progress thanks
  12. Petrol Octavia vrs will be back in production from wk 31. Current backlog will take up to wk22 to clear so a 9 week gap of which the factory will be closed for 3 apparently. Not sure what’s happening during that time
  13. My19 is wk31 this year for the Octavia. changed from Wk22 due to the new engines being introduced - Skoda CS have confirmed and I believe it applies to all models incl superb
  14. Think the factory is shut weeks 27 to 29.. wk 18 is this coming week so should have it before August given 3-4 week avg delivery once built
  15. Bet ur like a kid the night before Christmas.... what you ordered?
  16. 167 days and still counting.... car gets built next week but why does time seem to pass so slowly? .... sun’s out and I want a shiny new 245 now
  17. My19 is bw31 this year. confirmed to me by skoda CS a number of weeks ago. I was originally bw22, which and has been the new build year in past years so I queried whether i’d get the 245 i’d ordered or a diff spec one if MY19 started in bw22 as per previous years. CS went away and came back to confirm MY19 would be bw31 this year and also confirmed factory was shutting for 3 weeks in July. I opened a thread about it in here when it was confirmed.
  18. You can ask for printouts from a local dealer if you want
  19. A bird is bound to **** on your car between now and tomorrow - sorry but true
  20. Wouldn’t worry too much about the 18 weeks. I asked for compensation as soon as I knew my 245 wouldn’t be delivered as had been promised a date by the dealer when I signed. I’ve not put any deposit down and CS simply asked what I wanted. I asked for them to cover any additional motoring costs incurred until my 245 arrived and they agreed. Am driving around in my Mk3 (which was due to be returned on 7 March) and CS have agreed to reimburse me for the costs of my MOT and 2 new tyres. If you’re promised delivery on a date and it doesn’t happen and you’re materially impacted then get into CS immediately and ask them to sort it. The service from CS (Maxine) has been pretty good so no grumbles from me on that side
  21. Just checked again on autotrader and two 245s with less than 10 miles on clock available to buy at £23k + £25k. Both pre-reg ‘18 plates. a grey hatch and a red estate, so prices definitely coming down
