Thanks again vindaloo, sounds like it's going to be more hassle than its worth changing the brakes over. Its just a winter run about so I may just put the standard vrs shocks and springs on and leave it as that as I don't fancy throwing more money into this car on wheels, hubs etc even though I have all the standard vrs bits spare. But you never know i may change my mind! We will see! Lol Many thanks for the reply and advise though.

Can any one help. I have a set of front and rear calipers, carriers and discs off my mk1 fabia vrs which I have changed for 312/256mm conversion. I have a standard fabia mk1 pd100 as a winter car and was wondering if it's possible to change all the brakes over? Will the 288mm discs and calipers at the front fit under 14" steel wheels? What else do I need to do the conversion? Any help/advise would be appreciated. Aidy.

Your the man vindaloo! Managed to remove the keys tonight by taking the side trims around the stereo out and and pressing on the clips which hold the stereo in which released the keys. Many thanks for your help. Aidy.

Hi all, i am selling a set of eibach lowering springs off my mk1 fabia vRS. The only reason I'm selling as I have now gone over too coilovers. These are like new and have only covered around 700 miles! Been on the car for about 3-4 months but I only use the car at weekends! I can box these up for you as i still have the original box they came to me up in the loft but you would have to arrange courier to collect or im happy for you to collect in person from Huntingdon Cambs. £100 Can't upload pictures as on iphone but can email anyone with pictures if you pm email address. Hi, I have a problem. I have both radio removal keys stuck in my symphony head unit! I tried to remove my head unit this afternoon and I seem to have both keys stuck and can't remove the head unit. They are wedged in and can't be moved in or out! Has this ever happened to anyone before? And is there any other way I can remove my head unit and release these keys as they are now pretruding out of my head unit! The head unit is in a mk1 fabia vRS if this helps. Any advise would be much appreciated.

By the look of things my symphony head unit requires a different kit to the octavia 2. Don't know why but don't want to risk buying it and doesn't work. Shame!!!! GLWTS.

Can anyone confirm if the part number ADP076 will work with the symphony head unit?

Will this head unit fit flush in the dashboard of a fabia vRS mk1 or will it protrude slightly? Will I be loosing my in dash cup holder if I fit this? Do you have the iPod lead or does the head unit have a function that I can play my music from my iPod through the head unit without the lead? And lastly how old is the unit?
