So the car now has a tow strap. I just seem to have an issue trying to attach it. Just wondering what the best way is to remove the absurd amounts of polystyrene. Also is there a way to drop the bumper off without removing the headlights?

Absolutely

i believe the interval for the vw up is something like 70k miles or 5 years, whichever comes first. Being a 2013 model, it's coming up to 5 years old, so it should be coming up to the interval. However i imagine it would be fine to drive it to the mileage interval.

How much do you want for it?
-
hmm. that actually makes sense as to why my alarm never goes off
-
It's got a factory fitted alarm/immobiliser

What sort of condition is the parcel shelf in?
-
I don’t see why they would be different
-
They should be the same part
-
I’m sure that’s the scuttle panel

I’ve managed to be stupid enough to misplace my locking wheel nut key. Can I get away with buying a new key (provided that I don’t find it) or will I have to get the bolts professionally removed and new bolts fitted.
-
I might be asking a stupid question here but I imagine that the washer bottle for the up is the same as the one for the citigo bearing in mind that they are virtually the same car.

How hard of a job would replacing screen wash reservoir be? Is it a bumper off job or can I get at it through the inner wing? Mine has unfortunately cracked after hitting an unusually tall curb (the joys of being lowered)

They look good, just need to go lower, need spacers in the front for the wheels to actually move. I can’t believe I actually did this

I managed to change my plugs yesterday just used generous helpings of WD-40 and some needle nosed pliers. here's how mine looked bit of wet fouling on 2 of the 3 cylinders. Nothing too serious I don't think

I reckon the 65 map is just a revised 59 map. I took mine in to a dealer at the weekend and it does feel a little bit more responsive. Maybe that's just the placebo effect.

I quite like the minilite wheel design, I also like the equip 03 style. I reckon these will be a unique style. Now I need to choose a tyre

I think I've made up my mind, I originally wanted to go for a set of BBS RMs. that's until I saw the price. I settled for a rim that's half the price which I think look quite good. tell me what you think
-
I'm probably going for a 7j. The fun bit comes when it comes to actually picking a wheel
-
I'm just trying to fill the arch gaps. I'm also thinking about a 7j rim et25. I'm just not a big fan of spacers
-
Just wondering if a 16x8 et20 would be too wide for the arch. Car is also lowered by 40mm. Tried some calculators but don't know gap from wheel to arch. For reference my current wheels are 15x5.5 et41 on 185/55s (will be running 205/40 or 35s)
