For those with panoramic sunroof - here’s how to remove the rear reading lights. I found this to be the most tricky when comes to removal/reinstalling vs the rest if the interior lighting. In fact, I broke the clip for mine :(

I suspect this got to do with the hardware version of the MIB - I think earlier batches of the FL got the older H50 hardware whilst the later ones got the H54 which allows that configuration. Can anyone with has same colour schemes across all 3 confirm their version of the MIB hardware please? Mine as shown:

Mine doesn't seem to do this. Perhaps not coded due to being an early MY18 build. Are the colours limited to 3 (red, green and blue) or does colours like orange shows up on the Maxidot and MIB too? Same as mine or it's applied across the MIB and Maxidot? Yeah I get this. Where I am coming from is the colour scheme selected should be applied to the MIB and Maxidot too (notice that green tinge around the words “Range”, “Distance” and “Journey info”) - this is when Green is selected:

Good idea. Perhaps I should start with that. Mine seems to default to white regardless. Not sure if this needs to be coded? Is the colour in the MIB & Maxidot defaults to only 3 (red, green & blue) or any colour selected, consisent with the door trims?

Anyone on the FL models with ambient lighting option ticked can confirm that by applying colour changes via MIB, the colours are applicable to the lighting strip at door trims, MIB/infotainment unit background and the Maxidot cluster too? Mine seem to change only the lighting strip on the doors, the other 2 is green by default regardless of what colour I chose.

Yeah fully optioned with all bells & whistles. In Australia we only get “packs” of options unlike in UK/EU where you get to tick individual options. Any issues with the piggyback on fuse 37 (headlight) so far? Likely to tap on the same one given the limited surrounding space for fuse 47.

Same issue for me - VRS wagon with all options ticked. Fusebox looks pretty full - may just tap on fuse 37 like what you did. I assume it’s a mini (not micro) size fuse & fuse tap?

Confirms that this happens to be me too - not on the SuperSkoda ones so probably that’s the reason (it’s 1/3 the price & changed the whole unit not just the bulbs). But it doesn’t bother me though. Will probably swap the glovebox bulb to LED too & see how that goes.

2017 FL estate with pano roof. Just took mine off and it's a festoon. It's T10/W5W for all other interior bulbs. Just wondering what size the festoon is - anyway bought both sizes - 36 and 39mm.

Are these bulbs for this - 36/38mm festoons?

Anyone managed to confirm what is the size of the festoon bulb for the rear reading lights in the Octavia Mk3 with panoramic sunroof?

Slightly off-topic but I have ordered these for my rear indicator lights on my FL. Bought the same item & since got it installed over a week - did over 200km since and had no issues at all. Extremely bright & even helps with the reverse camera during pitch black surroundings.

Any screen shot of these? I got through everything prior to the step #17 and got HBA enabled on my MY18 Octavia but I am unable to see any screen/commands under Controller A5 that allow the activation/deactivation speed changes. :(

For those who managed to replaced the bulbs, wondering if this alternative would be an easier option to install, although it costs slightly more? Wondering if they fit though.
