Could we meet midway? (How do I request Mods to forward you my contact email)?
-
The Michelins are stamped 3216 or later (had to replace one after a puncture), no cracking that I could see. (The Chinese one is from 2012, not one I would use). I am not in a position to ship them; how far away from Chippenham are you?

Five Roomster alloys, marked 6Jx15H2, 5J7 601 025 Four are in excellent or good condition, fitted with Michelin Cross Climates (195/55 R15) which have between 4 to 6mm tread. (The fifth wheel is not so good and has an old Chinese tyre). £150, pick up from Chippenham, Wilts.

Well done! My 2007 1.9 suffered the same seized trackrod end issue, with at least 3 separate tyre places unable to free it. Cutting a long and painful story short, my usual garage replaced the track end and rod (and boot, burned by one of the other garages...). Out of curiousity they then took a destructive angle grinder to the old seized joint and it still wouldn't free, it was absolutely solid. Twice in its 120k mile time with me it was on (different) 4wheel alignment jigs; both times I was shown that the rears were slightly out but was told that there was no means of adjustment for the rear.

Wheels and tyre sizes, Roomie Scout
John_Wilts replied to b1ackb1rd's topic in Skoda Roomster (2006-2015)
A coupIe of years ago, I put a set of 15in Roomster alloys on my 2007 1.9TDi Scout, so I could fit Michelin Cross Climates. The tyres I bought were 195/55, as they were the 15" size fitted as standard to UK Roomsters. This certainly improved the ride, though my hopes that it would transform the car to Merc S Class levels of refinement proved just wish-full thinking...!
