Get them to go check other vehicles in their yard, I will 100% guarantee none of them will have TMC functioning (the guy I spoke to went and checked his own personal car (a golf) and confirmed that wasn't working either).

My advice would be to speak to the dealership before going in. The one I spoke to went and checked and confirmed they they were seeing the issue as well and there was zero point in taking my car in

My recommendation however, is to call your local dealer, they will be experiencing the same issues and if enough dealers go to Skoda it may get resolved.

All Skoda customer services want to do is send you to a main dealership who won’t be able to do anything

The dealership I spoke to went and checked. It’s affecting VW cars as well (the guy I spoke to has a golf and said his TMC function wasn’t working either). I would say this is a VAG wide issue (so possibly Audi, Seat and even Porsche are affected)

After talking to a local dealership yesterday I called them today and they checked and confirmed that all the Skodas in their lot were affected (in fact the guy I spoke to also confirmed his Golf was showing the same). This is a wider VAG issue it seems

Fact is, taking it to a dealer won’t fix anything and will hit your wallet. Fingers crossed Skoda get it sorted

So my 66 plate superb has stopped as well and I checked another fried with a superb and the same thing. This is definitely Skoda-wide but calling customer services was next to useless with them trying to say I needed to take it into a dealer to get it checked out. Obviously I’m not going to do that and have taken to social media (Twitter) to see if Skoda Uk respond to that

I’m running a 2016 Superb with the same issue, it definitely has worked in the past but noticed in the last week TMC has a red line through it. I’ve not update maps or firmware so suspect something else is going on

I have the exact same problem on a 2016 SE Business, didn't know about the long press on the key fob so that was a good workaround. Gonna call my local VAG specialist (who is conveniently about a mile away !). I had the switch fixed once under warranty (which ran out about 18 months ago), not sure how that works, does the clock start again on warranty work (i.e. is it covered for three years)?

HI, the boot on my SE business has decided not to open. I don't get any sound at all when I press the boot release button (this is a manual boot, not the electric opening one). Any ideas?

Bit random, but do you have an USB charger plugged into the 12V socket? I had one that killed my DAB signal completely.

My biggest issue now is actually getting Skoda to give me an appointment to look at it! I'm due to be going on holiday next weekend so need to get into the boot for luggage (funny that), but Skoda don't seem to have any sense of urgency :(

That figures (says there's a problem with the tailgate pin going out of alignment. I actually managed to get it to open hit is sounds "harsh" when closing which it would if it's catching on the pin.

HI, I have a 2016 Mk III SE Business and the boot will not open. when I press the release button at the back of the car you car hear the mechanism whirring but you can't open it. There's no manual release inside the car and I have no way of getting into the boot other than dropping the rear seats. Any ideas (I'm waiting for Skoda to give me a date when they can look at it that isn't three weeks in the future !!)

I've got an SE business in Silver (Hatchback), the boot is colossal. Interesting to note that the saloon is actually slightly longer than the estate version. I added a towbar to mine (that swings back into the bodywork when not being used), it's by far the best car I've had (2.0D 150ps), it goes very well when required but is much easier to drive at more sedate speeds than my previous Inisgnia.

Hi, I've seen a number of posts about Carplay issues but none appear to match my problem. Carplay intermittently(but fairly regularly) decides it wont connect. The phone shows it's charging then disconnects & reconnects so the connection activity goes into a loop. I've tried a different cable with no effect, however I tried an other iphone (5c) with an older version of IOS which doesn't cause the issue. I am using an iPhone 5c with IOS11.0.2 So far calling Skoda hasn't provided any help :(
