  1. Im going to try and meet this 1 (my 1st)
  2. Oh and in the summer, we can do Power runs, Dyno's and 0-60 meets lol
  3. I dont like them in vents period. I mounted mine in the ashtray and then found THE problem!, when in 5th gear you cant see it!, so then I had another brain wave, If you hold the unit up to the cubby hole the green bits sit perfectly on the outside of it, glued mine onto their, I'm then going to get some carbon sticky stuff to place over it, I glued it to the far right(closest the driver) and my sunny's still sit nice next door to it, Wiring in was 2 seconds and easy no cutting no huffing just pass it through and walla.
  4. Jabba? lulz, spend your money but spend it elsewhere lol
  5. Hi Lex, I have mine taped to a peice of cardboard, reason being im trying it in differant places IE the cubby-hole, the sun viser and my fav place thus far the ash tray, I use it for coins but with the gauge in it angles it up to me and looks good, my plan is I will get some plastic sheet and carbon sticky stuff and mount in either the ashtray or the cubby-hole later today, the sun-viser idea i had is positivly deadly lol. Mine is 2.04 However on muilti gauge it does end itself because its not supported or somin. MPG went down yes, because I did a couple power runs and a 0-60 =) its back to normal now tho. when I install ill get some pics.
  6. Well I just fitted mine, I have three RR maps one of 206 BHP and 2 of 221 BHP the Liquid Gauge says I have 220 BHP so i would say very Accurate on that note. I have warning lights on my Dash from my CAT and the Liquid Gauge put them out that was nice. All of the other options work a treat and the 0-60 said 6.8 seconds, I didnt do 0-100. It tells me Im running a max of 17.1 PSI boost. For me now I will never consider any regular Gauge's, this little bit of kit is revolutionery in what it gives the driver and at 177 pounds its a snip!. Love it the best man toy of the decade EASILY!
  7. I had issues with the centre plastic holder, Its a common fault even on the standard zaust systems, the rubber mounts give out rather too soon, my centre mount lasted 5 mins when i fitted my blueflame and the t-bar was hitting the heat shield. However as said above the blueflame fits snugly in place and when fitted correctly does not knock.
  8. I agree, I even had it out with Jabba but they said they fit blah blah what can I do?, Since that experince I relise Jabba talk utter crap IE 240BHP cars on standard turbos and Ebach's are fine blah blah. However, I think the reason mine handles very well is that their is not a single standard speck part on the suspension, I will swap out to H&R springs or maybe get KW's but for now I dont know. Point is dont fit Ebach to your cars because they dont make any for the Octy no matter what Jabba tell you. and I drive like im trained to in the Paratroopers.
  9. Not saying your wrong because your not, im simply saying when i got jabba to fit lowering springs they fitted ebach's, I have FSD's and my car handles just perfectly, maybe your driving style is too eratic i dunno..
  10. The something caught in it could of been dropped by them after all its not like garages do things for free very often. lucky escape tho
  11. Jabba put Eibach's on my VRS :(, that said they seem to be fine.
  12. We have a very similer setup, so im hopeful i'll acheive what I wish.
  13. I already have a longer cable in the post , I just feel alittle like being abit differant these days, the problem we have is that mostly our octys are one and the same, the modding path's we have to choose from are all very similer so i'll try and incorperate it somewhere differant, the rear view mirror option is my fav, i got the idea from the TT forum however I need to see how that might effect my MOT and such.
  14. Indeed Greg, I have options, IE the RARB is on setting two so I can go up or down, Im thinking that It will be nearer to nuetral once fitted and then other settings adjusted to suit, fingers crossed anyhow.
  15. I got uprated grooved discs and ferrado pads the differance from standard is oooh about 500% better stopping power
  16. Im going to put mine in my rear view mirror or sunviser as im not to keen on the vent jobbies, however that said if you could cover all the plastic in some carbon stuff to match the dash it would look better i think. My car has been RR'd three times so also i'll get a pretty good idea as to accuracy.
  17. Hi are these plug n play? i just orderd one the other day but i'll be mounting somewhere rather special!
  18. How does it handle mate? IE under or oversteer?
  19. Hi Lummox, I dont have any understeer, I used too before i changed everything, my car as it stands oversteers like a hooligan, I dont know why, it used to understeer terrible before the FSD'S, Neurspeed rear ARB, Neurspeed front upper strut, H&R Springs, poweflex bush upgrades all round and 19" wheels.. Im hoping beyond hope that the R32 front ARB will bring it somewhere back to neutral if not then alittle understeer as thats how I like it, but apart from that my drop links are shot and it needs doing ASAP and i have the droplinks and bushs for a 23MM FARB already so I may aswell give it a whirl, as it stands the car is just to pointy, scarely so at times!. Thx again for your help. P.S if it does go back to the old standard of understeer then I can take of the front strut and go up a click on the rear ARB to counter it.. but im thinking that as it stands it "should" be semi nuetral afterwards.
  20. Does anybody know the part number for the title part? Also confirmation that it does fit would be good as im going on rumors, and i presume its the MK4 i need?. cheers
  21. Yea next time im going to see Phil! Fortunatly the new ECU is sold too my mate who is bang into his racing, he wants a bogo unit for some reason!
  22. Good news!!!! I went back today and said look buddy, I have just thrashed the nuts off it i want it re tested now! by thrashing i mean literaly driving in 1st gear all the way as this is London so what other kind of thrashing is their!, he said you will have to wait so i did and just left it running for an hour, he finaly put it on after 1.5 hours and it passed on a long test yipppeeee!. Now for those saying my MOT tester is a knob the set of figures above are from JKM in portsmouth the second and 3rd set are from Marlborough main dealers in Hounslow, fortunatly i made a freind with one of the mechanic's so he set everything on the right path for me. it passed with CO 0.30% VOL, with that in mind i dont know why JKM failed it as it was the same their :(, still its done now. And i got pulled today on the way to the MOT and officer decided that tailing me into the garage was the best bet!. PS Does anybody know the part number for the S3 front anti-roll bar that fits the octy as thats an advisery so might aswell upgrade. cheers
