I was going to do the V6 brake upgrade but decided against it due to reading about big brake conversions and the impact of unsprung weight, I went for Rotor drilled and grooved discs and Black Diamond Predator pads all round. The difference was night and day compared to the O.E set up

i In the boot is TV module in the drivers side rear behind panel remove plug on this then check Mine used to do it all the time and after unplugging it for a day it kind of reset itself You should be latching the doors then fully locking it before checking can take about an hour for car to go to full sleep mode

@Rustynuts Would changing my hard drive to ssd make any benefit on reaction times of unit? Quite happy with unit just feels it needs a supercharger strapped to it😀 Failing that might just put a couple of racing stripes or MaxPower stickers on it see if that works

@wildtypitch I got the wiring harness with my ballast And still have it if you want me to post it you? Its sitting in my glovebox just incase you need to split the headlight to get access a couple of tutorials on youtube Not for the faint hearted but doable

@henrydiscipline When was the timing belt done as mine had vibrartion after that as the engine mount was not set correctly although that was at 2200 revs which was really annoying and took me ages to narrow down

@henrydiscipline Could be Dual Mass Flywheel or possibly the clutch cover faulty and snapped which will be very expensive if you leave too long as will cost you a gearbox Is there any difference to vibration on pressing in the clutch at idle🤔

DRL and headlights on dont mix at night As above too bright and glaring If this was to be done they need to be set at 50% power when switched on with headlights and I dont think that is codeable in VCDS

@NedMitch This can also be done through the phone settings in car to connect to (Handsfree) and not through sim (Premium)

drivers door control module is master powering all other doors (Slaves) As above. Take door card of and do end to end continuity Find what wires are broken then repair with extra 2 inch piece of wire to stop it happening again simples

I bent an old large flat blade screwdriver about 1/2 inch from top at 90 degrees Then used it between the clip and handle base and wiggled it side to side to ease the clips out They are tight

@Hawkeye13 Take it to a competent garage or auto electrician to get the existing wiring repaired and extended much cheaper than a new loom and fitting Or do it your self for the cost of a solder iron,some wire and an hours work There are loads of info on this forum about doing it I am sure on other post people are getting charged about £250 to replace complete loom It would be no where near that price to get it repaired and once its fixed correctly mo more trouble🙂
