  1. The 18k services is to entice fleet buyers I always do every 10k Also my DSG Superb estate 4x4 is great for towing as-long as you have it coded correctly for car which then adapts to towing setting for abs and stability
  2. look here its for octavia but same sort of thing Maybe email them and see if they have one for Superb Ive looked on Aliexpress but cant find any for yours Lcds available for other cars from about £20 from Ebay
  3. Not bad for just doing 1 coil spring😉 The difference it makes should be great The problem with suspension is it is very gradual wear and if you own the car for a long time you dont notice it and adjust your driving to it. Then you change them and its a different car I changed the front wishbone bushes to Polybushes this greatly improved handling
  4. As @superbdreams has stated above the 2012 models were wrongly set at factory. Stick 2 new bulbs in and get it set at a garage with headlight beam testing equipment and all will be good The difference just setting to correct level was huge on mine Only to be made better by replacing both bulbs with cheep amazon ones for about £30 the pair
  5. The best foaming spray I have used is Innotec DPF Doctor But for the price of the Vtech Fluid I can do 5 cars for the same price as I can of above Just bought a cheap 2ltr pump from Amazon
  6. Thats a better price for all 3 👍
  7. I use this method to get rid off the ash from blocked DPFs had very good results with Skodas and MInis
  8. I use my Drop Link Nut Removal Tool
  9. Look here lots of Info😀
  10. I put the Dumb version in my Superb but really want to get round to canbus controlled You would not like the way I have fitted mine I used a spare boat switch I had lying around
  11. Has the car got A Battery Control Module?? has it got the extra 2 wires coming from the negative lead like this video Might be that car has not been recoded to new battery and alternator is not giving full charge as it still thinks its running with old battery
  12. That some price just for 2 You would really be better getting all 4 done If 2 have play the other 2 wont be far behind and sods law they will start rattling in a couple of weeks Cheaper in labour to get them all done as they are doing the worn side anyway Moog rears £30 with new bolts
  13. "I'm still not entirely sure whether the advisories can be rectified simply by replacing the bushes." What do you mean about "the bushes" There is no "bush" on the front drop links only 2 ball joints I reread your post and never noticed it was the rears as well. The rears have a bush but it never goes it always the ball Bushes on an Anti roll bar are where it connects to vehicle subframe and are not mentioned on your failure You really cant go wrong ordering these as there is only 1 part for front and 1 part for rear
  14. Yip had a few problems with them as well Even try and get garage to supply Meyle most parts suppliers can get them. It was just to give you and idea of price👍
  15. I fit Meyle HD now because they come with a 4 year g/tee Enter JANSALE15 and you'll get them for £25.46 delivered It would only take a garage about 30 mins to fit both but be prepared to pay for a hours labour
  16. 2 weeks sitting about over that cold spell could easily kill a worn battery. They could of used a booster pack to get it started then its just died DPF could be blocked but wouldnt happen over 2 miles
  17. Charge the battery for a full 24 hours minimum Could be not turning over fast enough to start Common problem with weak battery Do not start removing turbos till you tried the obvious Scan codes,Fuel.Air adequate battery Regarding turbo its situated at the back of the BMP engine you should be able to take of pipe first to check for play or seizure (while your waiting for your battery to charge😉) This should of been checked before any repair was done to engine As said before. Bite the bullet and take it back. They repaired it and gave you it back saying all is well
  18. @Derbyshirebod An extra £12 gets you a known name instead of a NO NAME and a really good piece of kit from Xtrons and delivered from UK rather than China
  19. Yeah there is still hope "During my journey I heard engine whistling noise as I put my foot on the accelerator then when I release it that noise goes away/ reduces." Could be a loose pipe or the turbo whine the garage giving you the car back after them saying they test drove it and it drove with no issue SO this should rule out the turbo whining with oil starvation It could be just some thing silly "I don't want to go back to the garage as I had a fall out with him due to taking ages to change the hex pin" I know you say you dont want to but you need to phone the garage and tell them whats happened they will see with the mileage that its not went far and should come out and have a look or get it recovered to them.
  20. you need to get it to another garage to inspect it The whistling noise could be a simple turbo intercooler pipe loose and if they left that loose it also could be something silly have you checked to make sure the drive belt is still attached which would explain battery light. The first thing to go would be the turbo with oil starvation but that should of been checked before repair of hex And the low pressure oil light would come on as you said
  21. @Derbyshirebod I know you said you were an "extreme tight arse" on another post But surely your doing both front springs🤔 You wouldnt buy only 1 shoe if 1 was worn or would you😉
  22. Pump does not run on mine on key Have to use Autel, delphi or VCDS to control it Also @Chops13should maybe of taken for a diagnostic to make sure power is going to pump as wires can corrode up there Did you use Haldex repair for parts
  23. better just going to your local breaker Faster and cheaper
  24. Also dont go for O.E springs they are crap. they rust and are made from old Lada's Went for Lesjofors for the 3rd set and they have out lasted the 2 sets of O.E I put on and still look brand new with no flaking of paint 😉
