I know it's a big thread bump but thanks for sharing, it's a useful video (just made it a 30 second job to change the battery).

For the USB ports in the back you can retrofit them or trail a USB from the boot through the rear armrest so that you don't have to see the mess when you are driving

Coast2Coast don't just do leasing, I bought (not leased) my car through them and I also took the Skoda Finance option to get the offers that they had at that time (£3k discount & 2 free services), before cancelling after a few days like you said. I did CarWow first to see what I could get but the price from Coast2Coast blew them out of the water.

I bought mine through Coast2Coast, it was a cancelled order with a dealer and it was delivered (on a trailer) to my front door so the location of the broker (and dealer were irrelevant).

Thanks all for the recommendation, I'll order Anker ones from Amazon one seeing as I'd like one sooner rather than later so I can use Waze! A 2 pack for £7.99 sounds reasonable so I'll suck up the extra £4 or so that I could save with AliExpress on this occasion, or more likely Waze will save me from a traffic jam that the standard sat nav wouldn't will save me the money in fuel (not to mention the time I'll get back!).

My cable doesn't work with Android auto so I'm guessing I need a better / genuine one. Anyone got any links / recommendations for these cables that works with Android auto on their car?

Not sure on that, they'll either sell them if they think they can get a good price. If not they'll just register them to themselves.

I used Coast2Coast who found me a stock car which was delivered on a trailer for about 33% off. I wouldn't necessarily agree that all stock cars have no options. Which options are you looking for?

So I have researched this and I know that it's been discussed many times but I'm looking to get a second hand spare for my VRS (Standard 18" wheels) and whilst I'm confident that it needs to be 5 bolt, 112 pcd, 57.1 centre bore I'm not clear on the minimum offset that I'll need? Many of the spares that look OK on eBay (sample link below) have an offset of ET25.5 however I'm not sure if this is enough, can anyone help here? Thanks both. To be fair to them they've been good on other things when I've spoken to them so hopefully everything else they got right!

My understanding was that the VRS petrol had a chain cam and not a belt and was good for 10 years but on the health check Skoda showed me it said cambelt due in 48 months so I thought I'd check here as there's a lot of knowledge around.

Pretty sure this is due to the fact you're using a Huawei. I've got an LX1 as my work phone and it does the same thing but the Samsung and my wife's iPhone never do this. Mine always works again after disabling / enabling BT on the phone as well.
