So I went and bought a Jaaaag
Maybach's seem popular with the Dragon's Den Captain's of Industry who value conspicuous consumption over tastefulness. Sorry for all the long words.

Cycling on a York exercise bike
George some on here can't believe the truth because that is a difficult concept for them and someone who is happy having not been to work for 30 days must really irritate that type of person. Target is now 320km because I have managed 44km on Wednesday and 46km today over 4 x 30 minute sessions.

It's a £350 watch George. Perhaps I'm a lot fitter than you.

Cycling on a York exercise bike
Well having been forced to use our free York Fitness bike donated by my 79 year old father last year it has kept me active during a 2 week quarantine after returning from Cyprus and it has become quite addictive. Using my wife’s new Xmas present, a Garmin Venu fitness watch I have found that having it set to tension 4 (1 is very easy and 8 is very hard) on the bike I have managed 223km in exactly 10 hours on the bike and today used 1,050 calories to cover 46km in 2 hours ( I now do 30 minute sessions), the watch tells me my peak heart rate at the end of the session is 68BPM and resting heart rate an excellent 49BPM.

OCTAVIA Mk2 VRS - HELP REQUIRED
From memory the last Mk2 Octavia VRS were registered in 2012 and early 2013 and the last 500 were a limited edition with extras included known as Blackline. They cost from £7,250 up to £9,995 for a low mileage pristine example.

Remapped and now turbo has gone
So who did the remap that probably used too much boost and put the turbo under too much strain? Think you should name them and how much it cost so others can avoid using them and saving them from extra expense.

2030 Ban for new cars/vans run on just petrol/diesel
At least common sense wins as most hybrids have a greater combined range with an electric motor than a pure EV.

2030 Ban for new cars/vans run on just petrol/diesel
The clue is in the TITLE?

2030 Ban for new cars/vans run on just petrol/diesel
Government to announce new petrol and diesel cars/vans will not be allowed to be sold in the UK. Petrol/diesel hybrids will still be on sale however.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Well today is exactly 1 month since I bought my diesel Superb and it has covered just 201 miles (322km) due to a 2 week holiday in Cyprus (wish we were still there TBH) when we walked around 100km (62 miles) and after 9 days quarantine I have passed the time by cycling 133km on my York fitness bike in exactly 6 hours which is not bad for a near 56 year old. What did I do to the Superb today? I swapped it round in the drive with the wife's petrol Karoq which has also not been driven anywhere for 9 days. My life is so exciting at the moment.

MK2 Estate Tailgate fit MK1?
Someone asked the same question recently and the answer was no IIRC so a mk2 estate tail gate won't fit the mk1.

2020 F1 Discussion
I think Max tried to start in 1st gear because he was just spinning the rear tyres on the grid going nowhere when Lewis probably used his experience with his excellent engineer Bono to start in 2nd gear reduced wheel spin to a minimum and got a great start gaining 3 places by the first corner and then running wide and losing 2 places later on the lap but not panicking for his only real mistake of the race. Compare Bottas in the same car as the winner and he had a complete nightmare and Toto will not want him in the 2nd car beyond 2021.

Visually etc. My car of the day -today
Perhaps Ariel should offer free yoga lessons along with the crazy £77,000 asking price.

Visually etc. My car of the day -today
Met Tiff at Silverstone in 1993 when he was demonstrating how sideways a Nissan Primera GT would go. Dad had a very similar Traveller in the early 1970's which took us down to the IOW on a family summer holiday.

And Albon has 70 points this season from 14 starts. And brings very little sponsorship money.
-
2020 F1 Discussion
Hence my earlier prediction that one Mr Horner will replace Albon with Perez who will at least bring many points to RBR and perhaps even keep Max honest.

They look really good and suit your car well.

No sign of any wreck. Got lots of info while we were there and the roads are very nice now thanks to investment from the EU.

Simply incredible from Lewis from 6th to his 94th F1 win and 7th World Title. Who will predict his desire to make 2021 number 8. Just like Senna and Schumacher the rain meister shines again.

This must be Bottas worst performance driving for Mercedes already 88 seconds behind the leader after 24 laps and from 17th place unlikely to score a single point.

Hamilton might be happy to collect 8 points for 6th place. Seb holding everyone up and helping his team mate for next season perhaps in the process.

Reminder Turkish GP starts earlier than usual at 10:10 GMT to see if Hamilton can match Schuey's 7th World Title.

@xmanthe best things in life are free. Energy Blue looks better in the flesh than in photo's. Think you were trying to wind me up again but failed again.

TAILGATING CAMERAS ON THE M1
Many HGV drivers think they are the best on the road network which would explain why 3 low bridges have been hit 23,24 and 25 times in the last 12 months according to Highways England the worst being the A5 near Hinckley in Leicestershire near MIRA Proving Ground where I have worked on the Security Gate.
