No it wasnt real ...cost me £60 by a vw geek to sort altering 1 tick in the longcodes wiped nearly every electric function out

i did a scan but didnt save the log doh!!! schoolboy error , its very strange that altering somthing on the fog lights and its made the complete central locking to pack up and the parking light to work all the time apart from when the engine is off

Missus is gonna kill me as it's her car but I've gone onto vagcom to see if I can activate any turning/cornering light and found these to be unticked it altered the code from 20 to 02 so I copied the full code and pasted it and pressed do it . It said code accepted .but I stared the car up and turned the steering wheel .and no cornering light .now I've got the parking lights illuminated when the switch is on zero all the time and my full central locking doesn't work including the inside button .I've no idea what to do next .... I've been back into central electronic on vag and selected to until what I had ticked but to my amazement there already unticked I'm totally stumped I just need the original long code I think I should have wrote it down like it said

the day running light are on all the time so this is prob why , since this last post ive taken both out and dismantled the inner lens so i could get to the inner face of the clear plastic and wiped some interior rainex onto the glass/plastic , it works a treat upto now 1 week with no condensation yipee

dont know im sure , my wife got back in the car tonight and the drivers side fog light is that wet its running down the inner lens now , any idea how to take them out?
