Satnav/ACC switching between MPH and KPH

Common problem with the mk4 Octy. Suggest taking a read in their forums. Mib3 cars affected. -
Climate and Limiter unavailable
awahwah replied to Bigfish53's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
My rejected mk4 had the Climatic problems. Mine defaulted to full heat when it messed the bed. Mine also had other problems too. The dealer had the car back twice stating they had fixed it, they had not. I feel for the person who purchased it next as it has been sold. April registered 1.5 etec SEL in Titan Blue. -
When I had my mk4 it also had Auto Hold problems. The software (believe to the abs module) was carried out but alas did not fully fix mine. Auto hold was one of the reasons my mk4 went back. The auto hold in my replacement Superb works without fault. You’d of thought the systems would not be a million miles apart but…

Looks like a 2 week delay. My father in law did make contact with the dealer though and expressed that if they cannot deliver in the agreed time frame he would want to look at other options. Maybe that focused minds.

My in laws have just been told that their Superb is on its way from the factory to exit port. They ordered end of March.

SUPERB 190 PETROL SPORTLINE OR MK 4 VRS ..
awahwah replied to billblacoe's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Another vote for the Superb having come from a mk4 Octy that I rejected. I have the TSI 190 SportLine, more than enough get up and go. Mine was an exe Skoda UK car with 1300 on the clock. After all the discounts various parties gave me, it came out as £9 more a month than the mk4 etec. Very recently went down West Country, great drive and returned in the mid 40’s. Wasn’t hanging around but not driving silly as the kid was in the car. Was very happy with how it got down the road. -
My rejected mk4 is currently on up for sale on the dealers website.

Before Skoda bought mine back. Around town upper 40s to 50. Longer, she actually didn’t do so well, upper 40s.

Mine has the camera but no Lane Assist. 2020 SportLine. -
Happy for you @Wgms Now to find something else. I went for a Superb and all I can say about it is…it’s Superb.

Great drive. How are you finding your mk4?
awahwah replied to FireMonkeyLord's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
Enjoyed the drive in mine but the software problems where too much for me. The replacement Superb is a much better car all round. -

Interested in knowing this too. -
You mention Air Con, this was one of the faults with mine (rejected I add). The Air Con for me would black screen and default to full heat with full heated seats. A power cycle (engine off) would resolve but that is not feasible while on the Motorway. Your millage May very.

Forgot about Fareham. Interesting that they have the same methods though. Did they also tell you that they known nothing about these problems? -
Happily gone from a mk4 Octy to a SportLine Plus and couldn’t be happier. Will post pics when I figure out how

Very happy with my SportLine 2.0 tsi 190. Can’t speak for the BMW as never driven or owned one.

I wonder why they didn’t do that for me…either way, I don’t care anymore:)

I’ve joined the club too. Mine had multiple Infotainment, Lane Assist, AirCon problems. Yesterday was Hand back day and I almost didn’t make it. I dropped my girl off a preschool. The car got us there without any problem. Locked it, walked her in and went back to the car. Unlocked fine via Kessy. Tried to start it, message telling me the key was not found. Several attempts of locking and unlocking made no difference. I needed to walk away from the car before it worked. In contrast, the Superb that replaced it just works. My impressions from the very short time of owning it. Lots of promise poorly executed. I will say, if I was told at point of sale that I’d be a beta tester, I would of worked with Skoda but they are never going to tell potential purchases that. Mine has just appeared on the dealers website, I do feel sorry for the person who buys it.
