  1. Totally disagree. I got rear-ended and my rear dashcam footage helped my insurance claim go through without any doubt as to what happened and who was at fault.
  2. Same here. I have had mine 5yrs. There is a pedal controller in there, I have not touched it since I set it.
  3. Exactly the same as mine although a bit shiner. Had mine 4 yrs . Best car I've ever had. The addition of a pedal box improves it's drive-ability had one on mine from the day i bought it.
  4. DSG lever chrome /plastic on my car peeled away but out of warranty. Has cut my finger so covered with tape . the joys of wearing a wedding ring I guess. Not ideal, but have not looked into the price of a new lever.
  5. Had my DTE pedal box fitted to my Superb Sportline 220 from day one 4yrs ago. Once you have decided which mode to leave it in just forget about it! Wouldn't be without mine car drives so much better with it.
  6. I have a owned a 220 for nearly 4 years. I commute to work 18 miles on dual carriageway and motorway . Use the car for pottering around when not in work . I use Fuelly.com and get average 35mpg .
  7. Done neither . Put a pedal box on my MK3 petrol sportline 3 years ago. Calibrated it to my own personal setting & never had to touch it it since.
  8. Hi It will probably be http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-original-Skoda-Autoas-heavy-duty-rubber-FRONT-floor-mats-RHD http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-original-Skoda-Autoas-heavy-duty-rubber-REAR-floor-mats Hope this is what you are looking for.
  9. 220 / Saloon/petrol. Average is 34.4mpg over 13k miles. Figure is generated by http://www.fuelly.com
  10. Take it to your nearest Skoda dealer for diagnosis. The vehicle is still under the manufacturer's warranty. Looks like somebody has tried to change the rear brake pads without disabling the electronic parking brake correctly.
  11. I transferred my pedal box from my previous car into my petrol 220 sportline 6 months ago and it totally transferred the throttle response. Luckily for me, it was compatible with my engine ( DTUK pedal box ) so didn't cost me a penny more. Driving in individual mode and setting the cruise control to sport as suggested above will also make an improvement in cruise control acceleration.
  12. I'd personally never buy a tuning box. It's a recipe for disaster. Wait until your warranty expires and then get a proper map provided by a tuner who will tune your car on a rolling road to its individual requirements. Don't forget your dsg will also require calibration to take into account the extra performance.A decent tuner will never just remap the vehicle without providing the dsg calibration.
  13. I have used this product a couple of times to clean and deodorize the air con. https://www.forteuk.co.uk/product-detail/26/Air-Conditioner-Treatment Take out the pollen filter and follow the instructions. Leaves a nice lemon scent in the cab.
  14. See here for an idea of price. https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/gearbox-oil-and-transmission-oil-11915/skoda/superb/superb-3v3/112398-1-4-tsi £40 looks pretty accurate, unfortunately. As for capacity, I suggest you consult your handbook which should list it in there.
