  6. Minimalist tonight... Venison burgers on Wholemeal Buns and a splat of BBQ sauce. Tomorrow's will probably something that Brittany Ferries can muster at lunch time and tea will be snacks IF the shops are open as we arrive at 'le Chateau'..
  7. Technically last nights......Pulled Pork, Salad, Cheesy Buns. running down the fridge and freezer as we're returning to check on the Cats and Pigs and hopefully eat some healthier foods ๐Ÿค” Salad Cream was added before scoffing... 16. Definitely had better times... Still here though as said, OH had strong thoughts on selling up, calmed down though. We have good French and English neighbours who have helped with the Police and shopping etc and had a visit from someone in the village we don't know to check on us....tom tom drums doing their thing.... This is a proper sleepy rural area and everyone is shocked by it.
  17. A brief resume of this week's issues as I've hinted at in other threads..... 2 French car (turned out to be White vans)tailgating me at 12.30 in morning, leaving for ferry, show him the brake lights, car chase, get stopped by them in Vaas, physco bloke lamps me after 10mins of hyper actions (cannabis tattoos), police called, 2 tyres get knifed by 2 others who turn up, car taken away on wrecker, Le Lude police for papers and report of assault, doctors for medical report.. ferry booked for Thursday evening - car now back. Basically an Insurance scam gone slightly wrong for them and us. Car is just metal, us not so, OH is okay just shook up....me, better now, just bruising
  18. Having to pay 360โ‚ฌ for 2 new Dunlop tyres, 1 other rotated, here in France, Goodyear Vectors were on all 4 corners, 2 slashed. They're not even the equivalent of the Vectors and they put the new ones on the front just to top it off....I can at least get home now.
