Analogue Group ride today... Must remember to press resume after Coffee stop 🙄 Total was 13 ish miles... Long'ish way back to test lights for night rides.. Next one will be with helmet lamp as well

it's a lottery i think on tyre fitting, some fly on with no levers and others... soon be time to go tubeless on the Orbea me'thinks

Problem solved.. 🙄 He's been left some money by M in L when she passed recently and currently he cycles 7mile each way to work, leaves at 11pm and finishes 8am ish and his route is brutal, up and down hence cooked brakes. Currently Carrera Hybrid thingy and rides in work gear, rucksack and Rigger boots so ebike decided on. Ordered 6pm yesterday, due for delivery tomorrow pre 9am apparently, we'll see 🤔 Haibike Hardseven 4, pics when I get back from Ipswich Friday evening

Managed to be more than 100m from a WC after 3-4 days 😀 Easy pootle about in Eco mode mainly to try and save what little energy I had Someone's been busy painting the Trig points....

A muddy group ride today especially where the FC are tearing areas up, some downhill areas a touch sketchy riding over conifers, trunks etc

Group ride out today, a bit colder than Tuesdays ride 😳. A bit of levitation thrown in, phone threw a wobbly 😀 eMTB tomorrow....

Google Maps shows the rails and sheds better, a lot more 'stuff' there than i thought. terrain is hilly around there so i don't think the line ever went anywhere other than the yard

It's all narrow guage I think? the piles in centre are sections, possibly concrete bearers? The rail laid turns tight to the right as you look at it then finishes but no buffers. The sheds behind have more rail and carriages, no loco that I can see but didn't go wandering about. One of our neighbours thinks it's a hobby railway, recalls a w/e show a few years ago. I'll take a look at the French version of OS maps for signs of a railway

I don't how but it appears I've been off the bikes for 2 weeks 🤷‍♂️ Last full day run out, 22c and clear Blue skies, lovely 😀 Chicken Farm with railway things 🤔 and after 2 years they've finally re opened the next bridge upstream to be able to do a loop

1st ride out on the Carrera for 2 yrs... I'd forgotten how twitchy 23mm slick tyres, narrow bars and being clipped in felt 😳

A short Sunday Razz, mainly Gravel and Road, I need to find my way around again. Drive train creaking a tad so I need to look at that before doing too much on it, time for the Road bike methinks, of course I will ride past any Bars 🙄

1st ride out over here, a short one to run in the Felt

2nd outing on the Orbea and with the Saturday group. Majority done with no assistance, the odd bit and the last mile or so in Eco mode, Strava says harder than usual effort 😀

Absolutely love it 👍 The tight turns are in the trees on the Deer trails and it's a tad heavy to muscle around.... Practice practice practice. I took the battery out and boy is it heavy.... 3.6kgs 😳. Goes down the gravel / fire at a fair old pace 😄 OH thought she was spending £2k 😂 although I did put the other £3.6k plus another £150 or so in pedals and other bits and bobs.... and I need to insure it now

1st outing today, very different to the hard tail 😄 I need to fine tune the saddle height and slide it back a touch, front of thighs aching. Suspension set to middle diddle for now Tyres were too hard, stopped to let some out which went too low, popped some back in and seems about right with tubes, tubeless when I return from France late October. Ran mainly in eco mode so still got a decent workout HR wise. I need to get used to the sudden kick when on tight single-track as you hit the pedals, very off-putting at first.
