But, as my car is a estate, it resulted in better illumination of my rear bumper. I wanted te light to shine into the boot. Now with the day’s getting darker i wanted more light. So i ordered 2 more lights and went to work. Now I am waiting to a loom connector and i need to find a place to tap into the existing wiring. Looking at the detachable flashlight..

How did you code it? I understood you need ODIS to program the (KESSY) keys or else it won’t start. Would be very nice if i could do this myself.

Interesting. I just got a quote from a retrofitter and it’s € 2200 to fit. The VC part alone is € 1480. Thats not worth it to me. But you payed way less. I hope you succeed.

My dmf was replaced after 30.000 km and 2 years. Start/stop had been disabled since 11.000 km. Ridiculous. Hope the second one lasts longer.

I fitted the bosal towbar with dedicated electronics myself. And coded it with vcds myself. It all works. I e-mailed bosal with the question how to code it and they sent me instructions. Good service. I have an MY18.

The red globe icon means that the mediasystem does not have an internet connection. Setup a mobile hotspot or insert a simcard in the simslot if you have one.

Do you have a towbar fitted? The control electronics of the towbar are glued to the the metal body in the boot. Maybe it came loose?

I think, with a heated steering wheel you also need a new airco panel. The steering wheel wiring needs to connect to that panel. I looked into it once, but concluded it was a too high investment.

The alarm becomes active 1 or 2 minutes after locking the car.
