60 dropped for the 50?
Seems you get a smaller battery but get Cockpit infotainment (version 2) (generation 2) Whatever that is? Nightmare buying a skoda, seems they just change things at will. Sometimes you win and get a better car sometimes you don't. Lots of money for a gamble with them.

85x Sportline Plus - Canton Sound System very poor
Never got why people worry about radio sound quality when you are driving round in a metal box, on a loud tarmac or even concrete road with rumble strips and lorrys , buses, motorbikes and boy racers with loud exhausts near you!

Can't keep up with Skoda recently and new models, seems as soon as you buy one it's out of date! The se tech now gains heated seats and the sel gains extras. Take it the order from stock only, means no factory orders?

Just a few weeks wait for 60 Edition metallic race blue to arrive, just a bit disappointed it's not coming with v4 software, bit naughty of Skoda.

@jpeg86. Your maps are out of date so are you sure you're getting OTA updates?

Infotainment System Restarting endlessly
UK Over the air are dropping for 1941 you just need to be a bit more patience. It's worth the wait. Or call into a dealer to sort it if you're in a rush and not confident of doing it yourself. I was tempted to DIY but it's not my car, so very happy it was showing as OTA this morning.

Would appreciate the 1941 update, currently on 1896 with reboot issues, skoda garage just keep reloading the same 1896 back on. Cars only a few months old.- Is any Octavia MK4 without fault?
Must be lucky. No problems with my 2 month old octavia tech auto diesel- Does Octavia SE L recognise speed limit signs?
£63 Inc vat- Summer closure
Anyone know the month?- Summer closure
Tried but can't find it when does the Skoda factory usually close for summer break/retooling?- better route planner
So better route planner says it's 140miles with 30% left. = 20kw at 3kwh ish! = 60 miles total =200miles on a full charge. much better than i thought as keep reading stories of only 140 miles on a full charge in winter.. I'm just used to fill current car with diesel drive 600 miles fill again, whole different world in an electric car.- better route planner
I haven't got the car yet, but just playing with apps etc. Does ....a better route planner.... when you put the make and model in, use Skoda figures or average. eg Skodas 240miles for the 60kw or real life averages? to work out if any stops are needed. I presume its using Skodas figures and doesn't take into account winter etc, but will it adjust as it works out my average speed? = slower = more miles.- Anyone actually happy with their MK4? 😂
Currently have the MK3 and same thing happens on that with the wipers, for some reason it bugs me, it doesn't leave a clean line as it does when it returns to the home position, thought it would be different on the MK4 when mines delivered in a few weeks, but doesn't sound like it. Would love to know the reason for it! Still on edge about the new MK4 arriving soon, just hope it's software is fault free. The MK3 it's replacing has been used fault free high mileage for 3yrs as a true work horse.- Delivery times?
Same thing my company does. I was lucky it only took 11months instead of the 18months- Company car driver
H i Stray. We don't get an allowance, it's just a case of pick a colour and it's classed as a company car, we never own it. You're much better off with the Enyaq 60 than your previous cars. Do think the electric car is just a passing fad, much like wind turbines. Hydrogen and tidal turbines are the future. But that's a political discussion for another day 🙂 I am getting a new octavia mk4 jan2023 whilst my company sort there farce with electric out! To replace my old mk3 octavia- Delivery times?
Auto diesel estate tech, ordered April 2022 arriving Jan 2023. Reason for date change as was supposed to be delivered April 2023 = Early Build! It's a company car ordered through a lease company. Several other employees are also getting there cars delivered, all ordered at same time.- Company car driver
Cant edit previous post. Forgot to add price of iv60 plus 3k add on package = same price(ish) as basic iv80 so hopefully they agree.- Company car driver
I'm pushing for the iv80 instead of the iv60. My company has added a pack to the base model iv60 of 3k to encourage us to take it up. But i would have to use public and home chargers to cover the distances i do. The iv80 would do the miles just with charging at home. They really haven't thought this through, but that doesn't surprise me! They just want us to go green for PR reasons! Also some utility companies are offering new customers a very low overnight (6hrs) rate, so i wouldn't be loosing out at 8p per mile back from my company. This is going to be matched with the HMRC quarterly reviewed rate. I will more than be happy with the basic spec iv80 for the increase miles. I am aware of massive reductions in miles from the advertised mileage!- Company car driver
@Joel303L the 8ppm is set by the HMRC It was recently 6ppm and only reviewed once every 12months. A recent campaign by motoring organisations got it moved to 8ppm (they wanted 12ppm) and it's now reviewed every quarter by HMRC Our company will pay for home charging points, but just pay back at HMRC Rate ppm. Relying on us to shop around for cheap electric, or loose out! Not the way to go by HMRC or companies that are pushing for us all to go Green. We currently have a fuel card for diesel, asked about just using that to pay for electric, but apparently that's complicated at a tax level, can't see how as it's just the same as using it for diesel?! - Infotainment System Restarting endlessly
