looks an easy fix,as above see if you can find a local detailer who loves NHS workers and maybe a beer token and all should be well. Please dont try t-cut matters will only get worse

Service costs - Independant v Dealer
ocddetailer replied to Jase_31's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Having dealt with james and francesca from the Rochdale branch at the begining of the month i can honestly say that this young man knows his stuff and cares,he sorted my couple of issues perfectly and knew from a human being point of view what i required, not perhaps what skoda would want but due to his knowledge and great customer service i would whole heartedly reccommend this particular branch for service.Very rare to find this level of friendly service these days and the very reason i moved from the 4 rings back to skoda.Keep it going james your a genuine guy -
There definitely tinkering with things, struggling to connect myself etc.Im sure it will be fine and settle down in the coming days

So,as some of may have read i sold up my audi allroad due to many issues especially with their stealerships!!.Anyway back to the point.Yesterday driving down the motorway and the engine warning light comes on(deep joy).Quick thinking i dont live a million miles from the skoda dealership and think to myself i dont expect a fix at this time and point but if a technician could just connect his lap top i would find out if it at least safe to drive for the time being whilst booking it in probably next week(here's hoping i thought). So in i walk to Skoda Rochdale thinking hows this going to play out?I was met at service by a young lady who was very very helpful and understood what i was trying to achieve. She asked me to give her five minutes whilst she could try and get somebody out of the garage.Sure enough she said i found a technician give him 10minutes and he'll take a look(wow!).I can just imagine walking in the audi garage now and the reaction i would get!!! look at it today sir! no no no maybe 1 month next sunday whilst you also sort yourself a bridging loan and a cool compress for your brow! So sure enough i see my car disappear and low and behold not 10mins later the young lady reappears with my key,all sorted! No way i think to myself, but sure enough the technician appears aswell to explain the fault, this is bliss to me.Actually being able to speak to the person who sorted it and understands whats going on.The fault, well that was the adblue sensor not resetting itself simple as that.Honestly guys im blown away with this customer service. I really didnt expect a fix just the possibility of somebody checking quickly that the car was ok to get me home then like i say book in at a later date. This is why im glad to be back with Skoda real people understanding what your asking with a smile on their face, happy doing the job they are.Ironically the service girl used to work at the said audi stealership! she left and now enjoys her job, enough said.

did you use a mac by any chance to load the files onto the card? -
you need to check the coating causes less drag making the car faster
-
Ps,the company who did this for you are correct,if you have body work done you need to tell them due to paint issues otherwise

I love these warranty's (lol)and please accept in no way am i having a go,your car looks great, you have done the right thing getting it protected.I just wish the manufactures of these product would just be honest.Like you say this isnt a detailing thread and i hope you enjoy your car,it's superb! literally

Wow That must have been some defect removal for nigh on 2 days polishing, did they leave you some clear coat it does look good so happy days did you get a warranty with the serum?

Picked up my 272 Sportline Plus Kombi last weekend but its been at the detailers all week! I had the paintwork ceramic coated with G-techniq Serum Ultra, plus the alloys, suspension and interior protected. Mike at Minutia Detailing did a great job correcting all the minor flaws in the paint too and took some pictures for me - which I've added to the post. Now looking forward to actually getting to drive it! What have they been doing needing it for a week? It looks very nice with the arty shots

Indeed i did spend several hours researching the mac indexing issues with the skoda system.Im not particularly tech savvy so changed to the windows method and this was flawless in downloading with no issue and very straight forward thus my message to the op if possible use a windows based machine its much more straight forward
