  5. yes its only for the 2 circles, if you scroll all the way through you should see settings, all the new octavia s have the same dashboard interface so you will have settings
  6. have you pressed the button and you will see 2 green above and bottom of the speedo, once you see this then scroll to the settings
  7. using this button/dial
  8. top of my head if you click the right hand silver knob go up or down to settings, click left i think then click clock on then change to it
  9. the clock inside where the speedo is?
  10. Booked car into dealers a week today due to passenger seat squeaking a lot when going round corners (with passenger in seat) it started with a little noise now very noisy, anyone else had this yet?
  11. have you checked settings that data connection is turned on?
  12. mine also shows in MPH as it should
  13. So wifi off, plugged in for apple car play absolutely no issue, seems its deffo a connection issue for wireless
  14. no that helps tbh as you clearly get no interruptions, so it could be wireless or apple music its self. Will try wired today and see what happens
  15. i wonder if its some sort of drop out from the wireless connection maybe?
  16. Hey another post! Lol, any one here use apple car play with music (not downloaded music but streaming apple music) via wireless and have issue of 8-10secs in on songs it stops and you get the apple cog of working......or when going to next song can take forever then will randomly start playing after a min or so.Gona test it does the same via hardwire, im thinking its the wireless and not a signal issue as i have full signal.
  17. how odd, ive not had this happen....yet 😂 try resetting head unit (if you dont know) hold power down for about 10 secs youll see screen reboot
  18. ahhh ok thank you for the info
  19. oh wow really, well thats a bit **** aint it. Was hoping to do a few bits with VCDS
  20. Has anyone had a play with the new octavia and vcds? If so what have you been able to do?
  21. I mentioned this in another post, make sure when entering password on head unit if you did not set first letter to capital then turn off on car as the first letter is capital when entering the password, i had this issue until i realised the car auto makes the first letter a capital, if this makes sense lol agreed, deffo needed on the car, handy for saving all ur settings
  22. mine seems to be exactly the same how odd but not had a single problem since it went to dealer on day 2 of owning the car, and yes you need to be logged in skoda connect to save stuff, if you have problems it logging in make sure when you enter your password you turn caps lock off if you dont have a capital letter first as it auto turns caps lock on for first letter, and hahahaha that made me laugh, they are very powerful 😂😂😂😂😂😂
  23. tbh think it does need some kind of software update as i dont have these issues anymore, i did....when i first got the car but took to dealer and never had the issue again, as for the boot that does sound like an issue, not heard anything from mine. Let us know how u get on with dealer
  24. Confused why people are complaining about the mirror, if it was any bigger it wouldnt make the back window any bigger? The shape of the window makes it less visible not the mirror. I think its the correct size for the car
  25. yes get exactly the same lol
