tbf its long as saved all the issues then take in for it all at once then. Was hoping would all go away but nope, and with issue 8 i am registered and still nothing not that im massively bothered but i thought with it going in ill mention it, im hoping most is related and solved when it goes in, as for the seat its a weird one as only person who usually uses that seat is small and thin and not in as much as ism and they dont move the seat so odd how this keeps happening

as seen as we share the same software platform i hope they wake up and see we also have issues

not saying i dont appreciate it, i love the car apart from the niggles and id understand but my cars been to the dealer 3 times already for work! And from my list you can see its not just about not appreciating the primary functions theres some safety issues

a bit more then just lock/unlock via app though aint it

this was done the day i got the car and it says that im approved, you have to take your drivers licence to dealer in order for this to be done, i still dont have access to lock/unlock

how strange, the website for skoda connect says it should have it. Dont see why certain cars would and others wouldnt as dont seem to be an optional purchase. And yea i was the day i got it and noticed no auto boot button on drivers door yet website and builder says came as standard

apparently its all going to be forwarded on as they aint happy them selfs as its a brand new car and should not be doing this. Will ask to see that its been forwarded on, half of it is software and i know the dealers wont be able to fix, will only be fixed with a software update is my guess

I have reported the following faults to dealer and have booked me in for 27th jan for 2 days, they are as follows.... Passenger seat - repaired last month as was squeaking loudly when passenger using seat, they found a defect (seat rail or something) now broke again Air bag error Proactive occupant protection system unavailable Parking assist error Start/stop error- start stop hardly worked since last error Sensors slow - mainly front Issues when start cold - infotainment stuck and lights dont come on (welcome home and interior lights till ignition pressed) Front assist limited availability No lock/unlock on app will keep you updated for anyone else having any of these issues

yes ive seen in this forum and another then people are having issues with android and new octavia, clearly not the user but the software

am i not correct in thinking the new octavia has completely different software then the kodiaq? If this is the case then thats why you can connect and people with the octavia cant, i cant personally comment as i have iphone and never had an issue connecting wirelessly

may sound silly, contact your nearest Volkswagen as most skoda shut with lockdown and are teamed up at Volkswagen

you can programme where you want the mirror to dip, so yes it does need memory as i dint like how it was factory stored ao i changed it to how i want and its now saved as this, also it is called dipped mirrors as the one with headlights is called auto dimming mirrors

all well and good but when i had my issues it would not even reset

i do remember i had this the day i got the car, phoned dealer they did somet and it stopped it doing this, it turned aircon on (it was a freezing morning) and because it froze i could not access heating settings ao was stuck on till it finally stopped messing about, like i say dealers did some kind of update and it never did it since

i just find letting the car warm up usually does the trick

It sticks on a loop if no updates, they will only push updates when they have them, and you only have to turn infotainment off and it comes off the searching for update screen

would mean no new updates if its just searching

no worries give me a shout if you cant find it, if that dont solve it then must be the phone as all smartlink does is mirror phone. But my guess its the same pesky setting i had lol

I had the issue where phone connected stuff worked and then it stopped, in settings - wifi - devices - phone there is a little symbol of the internet i clicked this off and it worked ever since as my phone thought i was trying to connect to the car wifi and not stream over wifi, never had any issues since doing this
