  1. All 3 settings, since start, long term and since refuel all still resetting randomnly. At a complete loss and dealer cannot find a problem?
  2. Try this....https://carmanuals2.com/get/skoda-karoq-2020-owner-s-manual-114820
  3. Apologies stepheno, I did not try that! Just selected my production year....
  4. Thanks for update Surrey! Bearing in mind that I am someone who is completely non savvy with smartphones, computers and the like, if I finally manage to establish a wifii connection believe my phone and the car (and believe me, I've tried! ) will/can that connection remain established when the car is parked up and locked? The answer to that question is probably quite apparent to most, but not to me I'm afraid. Your last post seems to contradict the need for a dataplug with MySkoda?
  5. Thanks for replying Sanqhar. Yes, I've noticed tha price variation too! So are you saying the car talks to the phone all the time by bluetooth (when in range) ?
  6. Thanks for the reply SurreySlowCoach, just need to buy a dataplug now and figure out the complexities of connecting to the internet in my car!
  7. Hello Pab, sometime ago you kindly PM'd me with an upgrade link for my Amunsden. Before I could take advantage of the downloaded file, my hard drive died.

Could I possibly ask you to send a download link again please?

The details of my unit are:-

Radio database version: Hardware H41 Software 0475

  8. Advice for the uninitiated please folks....if I buy a dataplug and download Connect Lite to my smartphone, will I still need an internet connection? I understand the two devices connect via bluetooth, but does an active internet connection come into play at any time?
  9. Thanks Delanor! Good photo and information, I'll give it a go
  10. How did you fit the D section rubber seal? Does it clip on or adhesive tape? Would like to do the same on mine if I knew where you sourced the rubber seal?
  11. Thanks camelspyyder. Don't think that is my problem, beginning to think it is a battery issue
  12. After many attempts to cure this problem - individual resets of each of the 3 displays, factory resets of all of the fuel consumption displays, I contacted my dealer and booked a repair. Early evening on Monday, I decided to refuel the car. Forecourt was reasonably empty, so immediately after refuel, before pulling away, I decided to reset the 'long term' fuel consumption figure that had been created since leaving home. After several trips (and restarts) since then, the fuel consumption figures have worked perfectly and the memory on 'long term' and 'since refuel' have remained intact. Based on all the reset combinations I have carried out since the problem began, the only difference is the fact that I have refilled the fuel tank. Cannot understand the logic, but just pleased that a niggle that was driving me crazy has been resolved
  13. Many thanks Pab. Your help is greatly appreciated👍
  14. Weird, I've tried everything to sort mine without success
  15. Hello Over the last week or so, every restart 'wipes' the memory of my fuel consumption figures. This applies to all readings, 'since start', 'since refuel' and 'long term'. In the scheme of things, it's not a major problem, but it is annoying me more than a little. I think the 'long term' driving consumption is a good indication of both my driving style and car performance. Do you think a software upgrade could solve the problem? 16. I agree, baffling! Battery is ok CJJE, have 12v plug-in battery/ temp device, which I use when needed. Also start/stop system works, which seems to confirm battery is ok? Have tried knurled wheel and it seems free, but cannot dismiss the contacts behind it being faulty. May be making a dealer phone call tomorrow.....
  17. Thanks for the suggestion MJ. Just had a look at website and they do not operate on Sunday, one for tomorrow I think?
  18. Scot5, Took your advice yesterday and carried out a factory reset of infotainment system. During the course of the day, I did 2 separate journeys in the car and the fuel consumption figures all reset themselves again as before - 'since start', 'since refuel' and 'long term' producing identical readings, suggesting that the memory was wiped after each journey. The radio stations, favourites and logos etc. all remained intact. Just checked again this morning with a little tootle about and consumption figures have all reset again. I'm at a loss now, with what to do next?
  19. Hello Dave, did you sort this problem out? My consumption stats also reset after every restart too. No EPC light though. Did you manage to sort the problem out?
  20. Thanks for the reply Scot, they were my thoughts originally, that resetting the odometer also reset fuel averages. Battery ok and never disconnected, radio stations and clock are spot on. It is a strange one, I must say. Can understand why 'since start' average resets, but not the other two, long term and since refuel? I think you are right about the factory reset, which I have not done as yet. Will that action reset everything in infotainment, phone contacts, radio station logos and favourite stations?
  21. Yes Scot it was working ok until recently. Car was 12 months old in March. When you mention hitting the physical reset button, could you confirm how and where that is carried out? Just want to make sure I'm not doing that accidentally. I'll hang fire on the factory reset for a while, until I can establish that I am not causing the problem
