  1. Lovely. Got the same stuff to do mine with next week! Any top tips?
  2. So getting vRS Challenge Estate next week. We do a couple of ski trips a year and need winters. But have not really got the space for extra set of rims and tyres! I am considering the cross climate as a year round solution. Anyone got experience with this tyre? Or any other comment?
  3. So car is now at the dealer. Will be picking up Monday 2nd September! Very excited!
  4. The truth is out there.....somewhere! I think dealers are in the dark. At some point Mr Skoda in Czech will pull the plug on the Mk3. Do they have a plan? Possibly.
  5. As posted elsewhere. car built last week Week 32 Mon-Wed build. On the boat 1 week later. Wk 33. So will be in uk Today or Tomorrow.
  6. Car was completed last Wednesday. Call today from Simpsons that it’s on the boat already! Octy vRS Challenge Black VC Winter Pack Towbar Very excited!
  7. If it helps. Mine was completed last Wednesday. Phone call today to say it is already on the boat!
  8. Any update on tyre performance?
  9. Mr Ree. Clearly someone is being fed wrong information then! I have sources you have yours! Go ahead and order and see what happens is the only way to know that what you are being fed is correct. I will be more than happy to be corrected.
  10. Rear Mud Flaps 5E0075101 plenty genuine sets on eBay.
  11. MY20 spec is what is on the website at the moment and the configurator. Has been thus for a few months. Kenai is correct you need to get a serious shifty on. Don't know which dealer is advising you but some are woefully informed. Once the octy line is shut down. That is it for the MK3! You won't see a vRS Mk4 until 2021 due to fulfilling demand for other models before a vRS launch at a motor show at some point late in 2020.
  12. Getting a feeling of déjà vu on this post?! Fairly sure that orders have now ceased and your only choice will be what is at UK dealers now and in the next few weeks. Last week of build is week 34 at factory. They have summer hols and retool for octy mk4.
  13. Factory shuts down for holidays and retooling 2nd half of August. That is it then for MY20.
  14. Ordered mine on the 11th May 2019. Due for delivery in early September. But I think I was one of the last!
  15. This link still good. Purchased for a little more £8.59 delivered! Cheers
  16. Agreed. Spacers do increase the loads on the hub carrier very slightly. But as you say many many folks running them with no incident. Having come from a 4x4 background the size of some of the spacers used in those circles would make you cringe!, and this is on vehicles that are getting hammered off-road.
  17. Always Always take the PCP to get the discount. Then pay it off. Simples.
  18. Did I not answer all these before?! 😁 13 pin is hardly used at all anymore even in Europe! As you would be ordering a UK spec car it would be 7pin. Yes when you order the full towbar spec it comes with everything. Electrics ready to plug and play and removable towbar. Obviously I don't have my wagon yet but this is what dealer has told me and have viewed a couple of estates which have been specified with this option which made it a no brainer for me.
  19. They won't have a clause like that! It's all a figures game. They really don't care. They just shift the units and meet their targets.
  20. Yep. Train there. Getting it from Simpsons. With drive the deal as soon as dealer gets your deposit they give you a call so you know where it's coming from. Will be travelling across country not touching any motorway. Have a route from my AA Biker roads of Great Britain!
  21. It was an example. You could clear an amount then get a bank loan the next month after credit rating had reset.
  22. I am picking up myself from Great Yarmouth. Going to enjoy the drive home to Wales! Low loader is an option. But I want to make sure I am happy with the car before I drive off the forecourt!
