  1. I have an SEL and find similar, at 6'1" the seat can go far enough back but the wheel doesnt come back far enough and the base is short and flat. Like you I had a Superb SEL before and never complained. I guess its just smaller car syndrome but due to this I will be looking to change the car as soon as I can afford.
  2. Anyone else had a problem getting cumfy, it seems not enough room for my legs, seat is not high enough at the front and the steering wheel doesn't come back far enough?? I am 6'1" so not that tall and I was fine in my 2015 Superb..
  3. To end this matter, I have been to the dealer today and it appears the valeters incorrectly sprayed the wheel areas with a deep clean acidic product ahead of doing the Lifeshine protection, Autoglym helped backing me up with the dealer and now it is booked in for both front calipers and rear discs.. Thanks all for your comments..
  4. Sorry to have caused confusion.. My question is simply Would this be covered by warranty?
  5. Its on the outside of the caliper so wont scrub off by driving?
  6. Its an Octavia estate sel... I was hoping to get some advice before getting fobbed off by the usual dealer "its nowt to do with us" bs..
  7. Hi all, has anyone had rust on the outside of their brake caliper, car is 6 months old (my23) so disappointed in how it looks.. Do you think it will be covered by warranty, I am unsure as it won't affect the function????
  8. Sorted thank you, now the car does what I want.. Cheers..
  9. Maybe I am being thick but I cannot find speed control anywhere.... Give us a clue
  10. Hi all, I am trialling Traffic Sign Recognition and can't decide if its for me. Its fine and useful while general driving and I like the info on the dash, however, when on cruise control the bloody thing annoys the c**p out of me by constantly, un-predictably and un-comfortably changing speed.. So is there a way of just setting it to alert me when I am over a limit or is it time to delete it??
  11. You could try making sure you dont have your car key in the same pocket as your mobile phone, there is something in phone signals that interferes with the car and key recognising each other... I had the same problem on a Volvo, moved the key to my other pocket and problem solved...
  12. Still lovin the new shocks, a bit noisier (creaking etc) but I guess its the arb bushes need some grease....
  13. Just stuck with standard springs, height is the same and comfort litlle to no change, in fact its probably more comfortable for a passenger as they dont have the same top heavy type lean
  14. I have just had all 4 Koni special active shocks and standard springs put on my estate, the shocks are great and I dont think you would benefit from changing the springs.. The rears look simple enough to do yourself but I had my local garage do mine as I was doing all 4 after breaking a front spring..
