Thanks for the suggestion.
Do I have to order Passat washer jets from a VW dealer?
It may be a quick job but even so, I don't fancy trying it! Who should fit the new jets - VW or Skoda dealer?
Take a look here:
I got mine online and fitted them myself.

Swap out the washer jets for VW Passat ones and you'll get the fan spray. 10 min job to do and much improves the spray.

The rear spray is truly awful and of such poor design considering Skoda's attention to detail in other areas. One of the things i hated on my Superb.

Last chance for these now, just getting in the way.

Known fault I believe - mine did it. Only on cold mornings, it wouldn't function properly.

Just seen this...... But I'm not going to be able to pick-up until next week..... Any chance you can hang on to the tunnel-cover and the boot-net?
Unless you're willing to do a deal on the lot.....
Happy for you to make me a sensible offer via PM.

Last chance on these items - just getting in the way now so will be disposed of on the weekend.

That's an F10 5 series, last few posts have been around the new G30 5.
Agree the G30 5 series is much nicer than the F30 3 series, and a generation newer too...
Twas to show the colour - Sophisto Grey I agree the new G30 is better looking. -

Mines a Company Car, just waiting for my Tax Code to catch up and then get my pay rise
Yeah, the 9% BIK is very very attractive.

Order signed off by myself and the contact in school. Insurance forms/declarations signed and sent to the lease people. It's just awaiting approval by them, and then the waiting game begins
excellent.
Really interested in how you get on with this. Secretly hoping that our company stick some hybrids on our CC list for when I replace in 12 months, even more so if there was a Touring version available.
Good choice.

Just vents out into the wheel arch. Nothing scientific or special - mine used to do it every now and again.
Just poke it with a paper clip or something similar.
-
Unless you approach the lease company direct perhaps?

Touring more practical but again not available in 530e, saloon only.
I'd take the 5 though. Better spec'd from the start. More room - certainly for rear passengers. Do you have a family?

330e boot is 370 litres
530e boot is 410 litres
For comparison. Can't find the exact dimensions at present. Both lose about 120 litres due to the batteries.

[clicky click] you've a reduce boot for the battery so I'd look very carefully at it in case it's not big enough.
and unfortunately the 330e doesn't come in Touring flavour.

This sums it up when even a company car owner gets rid of a lease vehicle due to a run of bad luck and problems/issues.
I gather it was a pool car? Hence the ease of getting shot of it.
I was once offered a job with a company skoda included in as some kind of incentive. Thanks but no thanks. So i bought a skoda instead thankfully a sportline so at least it looks the part. Doh! This will be my last. Looks great but the quality is diabolical.
Its not a premium vehicle, its not executive, its a badly made over priced car to attempt to capture higher revenue sales for a brand that is trying to compete in a more luxurious sector. Fail.
No it was my company car but things happened at the right time - issues with it plus another manager leaving thereby meaning his car became available.
It was my 4th Skoda and each time the quality had risen and although I was initially impressed with the S3 the novelty soon wore off when I started having problems.
Onwards and upwards. I won't be returning to the brand.

Losing faith rapidly in the brand, so they had better pull their socks up tomorrow and come up with a solution.
Sorry to hear your woes Andy, sounds like an initial issue which no-one took ownership of, and perhaps could be have been avoided if the factory had agreed to supply or acknowledge the fault.
Hope you resolve.
