  1. Whiteline heavy duty adjustable drop links, you have to pay to play though!
  2. What's wrong with the adjustable ones?
  3. https://www.facebook.com/711893365667754/posts/1614982762025472/ 345mm Calipers here for sale £180
  4. 8p and 8v are both straight swaps, the 8p uses 345mm, 8v uses 340mm disc. The calipers differ in design and piston size, I went for 345mm as it works well with the octavia master cylinder, the bigger piston would need more pedal travel before they bite. Discs and pads can be bought from autodoc, wait till Friday and they will be 40% discount. Match day madness. Hey, check out BREMBO Brake Disc in the AUTODOC app https://m.autodoc.co.uk/brembo/13801757 Hey, check out BREMBO Brake Disc in the AUTODOC app https://m.autodoc.co.uk/brembo/13801758 Hey, check out BREMBO Brake Pad Set, disc brake in the AUTODOC app https://m.autodoc.co.uk/brembo/13802391
  5. Have you thought a caliper upgrade? I run S3 345mm Brakes up front and use brembo high carbon discs and pads from the xtra range, they stop unbelievable well compared to the standard 312mm brakes that were on it.
  6. Brand new set for £300 here. https://m.facebook.com/groups/584598335224187/permalink/1442809476069731/
  7. Hey, check out H&R Suspension Kit, coil springs / shock absorbers in the AUTODOC app https://m.autodoc.co.uk/h-and-r/13666048
  8. You can get h&r in comfort kit, probably lower it 10-15mm.
  9. Yes that's the cup kit with 45-50mm drop that I run, only had it catch on the biggest of speed bumps and high curbs. I couldn't run a splitter tbh, it'd just get smashed off.
  10. When they quote drops its from a std octavia not a vrs, so it would drop a std octavia 40mm, but a vrs would drop less. H&R Are at a good price today on autodoc, I personally bought new top mounts and bump stops etc too. Hey, check out H&R Suspension Kit, coil springs / shock absorbers in the AUTODOC app https://m.autodoc.co.uk/h-and-r/15745009
  11. The b12 kit is fixed, it's b8 shocks and springs iirc.
  12. 50mm h&r cup kit is also an option for a fixed drop. Great bit of kit.
  13. Mine went into the skip where they belong, horrible things.
  14. I could probably get a beeping kit for the front, just so I can avoid high curbs with a splitter fitted.
  15. What would be needed for a front camera too? I really don't like the ones that don't look oem.
  16. This is a great post, I'm currently looking to upgrade my stream head unit. Still undecided between rns510 and the rcd330. Have you had the front and rear cameras working yet? My car doesn't have parking sensors, so this could be the perfect option for me.
  17. Patch27 replied to a post in a topic in Breaking cars
What head unit does it have?
  18. Yes direct swap onto existing hub, I used s3 hel braided lines.
  19. Wow, that's a lot of information. I knew about the weight, but I plan on running passat hubs to counter act it. It's only a daily driver, but felt that the std brakes are shocking. If I was planning a track toy I'd be looking at 4 pot brembo etc...
  20. Finally got round to fitting the S3 front brakes and wow what a difference they make. I was a little concerned if they would fit or not, but can confirm they fit under 17 inch zenith with 5mm to spare.
  21. Great conversion and looks better now. Skoda ruined mk2's and mk3's with the facelift's, beyond me why they did it. Lights are wrong, grill wrong and don't even get me started on the mirrors...... My pfl looks perfect.
  22. Do you really need to ask on a post about brakes? You could pm me if it bothers you while looking at my profile. Back to brakes. I have them ready to go, but I don't want to run spacers if I can help it. Does anyone on here run 345mm brakes?
  23. Does anyone know if the 345mm s3 brakes will fit 17inch zenith wheels without a spacer?
  24. Anyone know the procedure to activate both rear fogs on a 2007 rs? I can't seem to find it on vag com
  25. The kufatec adaptor loom turned up but didn't fit, upon investigation the pins on the xenon headlights was hitting the plug of the adaptor. Emailed kufatec who assured me it was the correct loom. Had a look again today and not a chance, just went out to the car and they connected without a harness. All working, just need to source all the other parts now.
