Nope, any change was the battery. New battery is now charged overnight with Noco genius 10 and is reading 13v on my M-830B Multimeter. Will install that and see how I get on...

Hi all, I followed this excellent guide - thanks to SomethingSuperbly - a change a dead battery on my 2019 Superb Mk3 estate. The car hadn't been driven for a while and when I first tried to start it I got a Glowplug warning and the car was sluggish to start. I then got loads of errors about ABS, ESC, Brakes, etc, so after some quick reading of this forum, I decided to upgrade my EFB+ (see picture) and purchase an AGM (as per picture). The uninstall and install went easy, the coded seemed to work (Fleece, VA0, 70ah, a new 10 digit serial number all using OBDEleven Pro. Excellent - the car started first time. When I watched the battery status in OBDEleven whilst driving, with foot on the accelerator battery showed as discharging, when i took foot off the pedal (rolling down hill) it showed charging at 14.7 Tested battery with a meter after stopping and it showed 12.7 Turned the car off, left overnight, tried next morning - wouldnt start - tested battery and it was 11.4v Any clues or tips where to go next with this please? Car is outside and not being used as cannot trust it! :-( Many thanks Paul

Hi all, Was wondering if any technicians might have a look at the image and comment - particularly on the Caster reading... Just had the car in for MOT, Service, Alignment (due to both NSF & OSF wishbone replacement). Should I be concerned about the AFTER being RED on the Caster reading for both front wheels? I have mine set to L mirror as suggested above and the function only seems to work intermittantly. At times it goes down and doesn't go back up. Anyone else experience this issue...?

Upgraded via SD card work a treat - thanks for all the advice above. No idea why there was issues with previous downloads - all sorted now though :-)

Yes, very weird - just downloaded again this evening and no issues found?! Unzipping directly to hard drive, then copy to new SD. Will give the update a try tomorrow 🙂

Hi all, Had my lovely new Superb for a couple of weeks now and I have read about maps updates via this forum. Having visited http://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/en-GB and entered my VIN I find that ECE 2020/2021 (Valid since CW 25 2020) is available. I guess the name format is week commencing 25 2020? I've downloaded the maps several times (26GB each time!) on different devices and get no issues when downloading. When I come to extract using 7.zip (as recommended) on wIndows 10 machines, I encounter several checksum errors with files inside the zip. Has anyone else downloaded and extracted successfully? I dont want to copy the 26GB to an SD card and then try to install in the Columbus if there are corrupt files.... Many thanks in advance Paul

Hi all, Picked up my Superb a week ago and I'm super impressed with it 🙂 I've got two children who like the DVD player when car is stationary, but not so keen when video is disabled on Columbus unit when car is in motion. I've read the the Columbus unit can feed the Audio & Video to head units, which seems a great idea to me. DVD plays audio via speakers and video to head units only for rear passengers when car is in motion. Anyone got any knowledge / experience of fitting such head units? Many thanks in advance 😉

Hi all, Later this week I make the switch from long term Ford Mondeo estate owner to Skoda Superb Estate owner (69 plate 2.0 TDI CR SE L Executive 5dr DSG [7 Speed]) What tips can you 'experts' give me on things such as; - Skoda Data card (any good - where to buy for less that £40) - Connect Lite - useful - Map updates including POI - what else to look out for... All help appreciated :-) I'm well used to Ford's and the forums for sharing useful info - hoping to get some great info from fellow Skoda owners also :-) Many thanks all...
