  1. Yeah.. mines the FL model I read the dedicated forum post a little while back.. it sounded fraught with pitfalls. Hence why I still have to get out of my car to shut the boot!
  2. I’m really tempted to try the boot release. Pretty much made every coding modification bar this one. I have a 2019 L&K so have KESSY and Virtual pedal. I’m concerned I’ll lose functionality if the incorrect data set and options are selected . Has anyone with a similar vehicle done the mod that can advise on which options to choose?
  3. Just to chime in. I use two phones on my 69 Plate. An iPhone 8 on iOS 14, Jailbroken so I can use CarBridge. and an iPhone 17 on iOS 26 (Primary device) The 17 displays turn information on the VC if I use Google Maps The 8 does not. @TonyElv Are you using an up to date iOS?
  4. Yesterday, my 69 plate iV reported ACC is unavailable. Normal driving, albeit in the rain. Checked DTCs got 00791: Vertical alignment. I've read on here Skoda can be arsey about charging for this, even though my car is still covered by Skoda-approved warranty and Service pack warranty. I'd like to pop the cover off the bumper, to see if anything is amiss inside before I start the battle. However, I've not managed to find any instructions on how to remove the cover on the FL model, I don't have the two holes to insert screwdrivers. Has anyone taken the cover off an FL model that can share the process, please?
  5. That is a good deal.. is that being offered by the dealer direct or something? VWFS still has it for £708.
  6. Thanks.. Will no doubt come in useful at some point

  8. I’m pretty certain the amp is under the passenger seat. From what i read, they couldn’t call it a Canton system without the Sub.. however everything else is the same. Question is.. is the loom for the sub there?? Need to go digging to find out.
  9. Proud owner of a MY2020 L&K IV, happy with everything, except the nagging feeling I’m missing out. As the title suggests, the variant I have didn’t offer Canton that year, it has all the extra speakers and the amp.. just not the sub. I’m guessing one could be retrofitted from a newer model, has anyone on here tried anything like this?
  10. I notice the Passat/Arteon climate controls, is that a straight swap.. as in it clips into the existing housing?
  11. It’s mine
  12. The salesman said he’d let me know either way tomorrow
  13. No. I called to negotiate, someone has reserved it for a test drive tomorrow and would have first refusal.. but now the advert had gone?!?
  14. I think someone’s beat me to it
  15. Had an iV a couple of years ago. (For 3 years) Took this one on a fairly lengthy test drive, the hybrid battery behaved as expected. Does anyone know if charging cycles is readable through OBD11 / VCDS? It has 12 Months manufacturers warranty, and 3 years remaining on the battery warranty. It’s been serviced as per Skoda requirements.
  16. Quite possibly. I’m really torn on it, not sure if there’s risks with it standing around for 5 years doing nothing (especially the hybrid battery)
  17. I’ve been eyeing up an L&K iV, MY20, it’s only done 180 miles as it’s an ex showroom car. Sounds great, but they want £25k for it. What are everyone’s thoughts please?
  18. My 70 plate randomly went off 2 nights ago too!🤔
  19. Just chiming in on this I use a spare old iPhone that I’ve jailbroken and installed an app called “CarBridge” more info here
  20. If you're presented with this error. I've found a way of clearing it without having to stop the engine. Press and hold the emergency call button until the system reboots that component. Things to note.. 1) You have to hold the button for a minute/s + 2) It may attempt to contact the emergency services upon reboot.. so be ready to press cancel on the head unit.
  21. Click the right thumbwheel to cycle through the pages
  22. I removed the S K O D A, Superb and IV badges from mine, as I much prefer the clean look
  23. Mine's been doing that too!
