Electric rear windows
Any reason to make such a ****ty response to a first time poster?

Rear electric windows removed from SE trim
I don't blame you Kental what alternative will you look to order?

Rear electric windows removed from SE trim
Thanks for confirming. That is shocking! I can see on the spec the only model that has electric windows in rear is SE L

Rear electric windows removed from SE trim
We ordered our Kamiq SE in February 2021 and it arrived July 2021, we love it! A friend wanted to know if they are good to own so I was looking at the latest spec and prices; It looks like electric windows in the rear has been removed from SE trim but the price has gone up?

Rattles and Creaks
Mine has just developed a rattle on the driver's door card. It sounds like it's around where the door handle is or arm rest. Car has hit 1,200 miles it only rattles on uneven surfaces. Sending my OCD crazy 😂 but I think I can live with it. My opinion is in this day it's still a cheap car, if you wanted ultimate quality maybe a Skoda wasn't for you.

What’s YOUR MPG??
I have a 1.0 SE 95, round town we are getting 46-48mpg and we drove from Durham to Ripon a few weeks ago and we got 68mpg on the A1(M) This car definitely feels more suited to the motorway.

DSG shudder low rpm
This is a common fault with the early 1.5 DSG Kamiq / Scala I believe Skoda have fixed the issue now. Maybe you could take it into your dealer to see if there's a software update that can fix this.

windscreen wipers juddering
Mine juddered but that was because my dealer did a very shoddy job of prepping our new car for sale. I find if you go over the whole windscreen with tar and glue remover then use fairy liquid after and this removes all juddering

Auto braking
What year is your Kamiq? Mine is June 2021 and I have my sensitivity set to Late and I've never felt mine kick in and I get nagged from the other half that I drive too close to other cars
- Have we done the "Fitting and wiring a Dashcam"

Dashcam fitting
Same for me no fuse 45. Can confirm fuse 43 works great on my Kamiq

Skoda Connect - More penny pinching it seems
Is your car an SE-L? I've seen on the SE spec Skoda services are not included free for 1 year
-
Skoda Connect - More penny pinching it seems
Heard this too. I don't think we will bother, having the free vehicle locator is handy sometimes.

Skoda Connect - More penny pinching it seems
Set up my Skoda today. This was not what I was expecting... I thought you got 1 years Skoda car services for free? I'm very disappointed this feels like more penny pinching from Skoda.

The wait was worth it - SE 1.0 95
We ordered our Kamiq SE 1.0 95 on 1st February 2021. It arrived yesterday after only arriving to the dealership the previous day. Initial Impressions This feels a huge step up in quality from our 2016 6J Seat Ibiza, the doors make a good 'thud' when closing, I was next expecting this with a car at this price point. Inside feels a lot larger than we were expecting (we never sat in one or even test drove prior to ordering). Engine is quiet and refined for a 1.0 and the stop start isn't as harsh as what some have mentioned on here. Drives a lot better than I was expecting, I thought it would wallow about in comparison to our Ibiza but it is fun if you throw it about a little, but this isn't what this car was built for. As others have reported steering is pin sharp and quite fast. Lane assist is not as bad as expected, I live in a rural area of Durham surrounded by B roads, unless Skoda have done an update I don't find the car fights the wheel much or at all. For anyone considering the 1.0 95 it has more than enough power to cope. We had a 2016 1.2 TSI Seat Ibiza, we loved the 1.2 TSI but all the torque came in one lump below 2,000rpm which made it tricky to drive it smoothly. The 1.0 TSI doesnt come on song until above 2,000 rpm, initially it feels quite lethargic but when revved out it feels exactly the same as our old Ibiza, plus we prefer the 5 gears over the 6. Hoping for hassle free motoring. Oh last thing to note, with 50 miles on the clock we have the typical 'scoring' marks on the rear disks that some have experienced. Some are quite deep, I can get my finger nail into them but it's not causing the brakes to squeek. I'm not going to bother with a warranty claim unless it affects the braking i.e juddering or squeeks, it's to be expected with a car at this price point and cars are to be used anyway!

Back in the fold - Kamiq Monte Carlo 1.5 ordered.
Jordan, assuming you ordered your car in Sweden, UK spec cars are different to Europe.

Back in the fold - Kamiq Monte Carlo 1.5 ordered.
If you look at the latest Brochure on the Skoda website it's been removed from SE-L too. Possible it is down to profit but I suspect it's more likely to a lack of Semi-conductors due to supply issues during Covid. Many manufacturers have removed spec, my friend wants the new Golf 8 but the virtual dash is no longer standard on the R Line model. You can't even spec an auto-dimming mirror, either there is a supply issue or an issue with the mirror itself. I have noticed that the SE now gets lights in the vanity mirrors originally there were no lights, both front seats now get lumbar supports.

Back in the fold - Kamiq Monte Carlo 1.5 ordered.
Edit Ah I was mistaken, the auto-dimming mirror was removed from SE, SE-L & Monte Carlo trim after Dec 2020, I wonder if it was removed because of issues? Shame was really hoping mine would have one fitted

So glad I came accross this thread! @motr1912 what year was your Monte Carlo built? We have a 1.0 SE 95 on order and it's due to arrive either today or tomorrow. I ordered on 1st February 2021 and at that time auto-dimming mirror was part of SE trim. I live in quite a rural area with unlit roads, an auto dimming mirror is important to us, hopefully ours arrives with an auto dimming mirror.

1.0 tsi 110hp - any high mileages already?
Sorry Camel, I didn't mean to come accross too harsh haha! I know the earlier 1.2 TSI was an 8v and chain driven? I don't know too much else about them. We've had no issues with our 2016 1.2 TSI apart from it's always ran a little rough when you cold start it in the summer i.e when the weather is hot. I'm guessing you're from Spain I wonder if you've ever heard of this before. Our 1.0 TSI has a slightly revised engine design where the airbox is mounted at the side of the engine instead of on top, time will tell how reliable it proves to be.

Indicator bulbs
The new Golf 8 is the same, if you get a basic R Line every bulb is LED apart from the front indicators.

1.0 tsi 110hp - any high mileages already?
I'm sorry to say but you're doing something wrong, we have owned our 2016 16v 1.2 TSI from new, it's covered 40,000 miles and we have had no issues with our Turbo. If you are killing turbos it's either bad luck or the way you drive.

1.0 tsi 110hp - any high mileages already?
This is good to know! We are awaiting delivery of our 2021 Kamiq 1.0 TSI 95, how did you find your 90 TSI mapped at 143bhp? Did you go easy with the 5 speed box or did you drive it as normal? I would like to get ours mapped once it's a little older but I wouldn't want the gearbox to poo itself
