  1. I went to a clutch and brake repair shop they test the clutch and they say it is working good https://youtu.be/NStfUwsccjg
  2. The repaired clutch disc is 8.2mm and the new original is 7.7mm Could that be the cause?
  3. Those pins (the diaphragm? ) Is what they say they are too deep.
  4. This is me against all of them. They say if i leave it that way i wont be able to change gears. I was looking everywhere which is the thickness of the clutch disk because they say that clutch is too thick
  5. Is it true that it is too thick?
  6. Is this normal? The mechanic says it is too deep (the pins) and i say it is because it is a new clutch. Is it too deep?
  7. Excellent I am nor going to leave the mechanics alone with my car
  8. Hi I finally got a new engine for my oil burning old one. i was unable to get the Haynes manual, but i got another from a link i got in this page. but i am unable to find the tightening torque for the injectors and the heaters, since i am using the old from the old engine.
  9. thak you I forget to mention, i was looking for the online version (because it is faster when searching for a specific word.
  10. Hi! I finally got an engine to replace the worn oil burning engine of my Fabia and i want to have the Haynes manual in hand to make sure the mechanic do the job right but when i went to the Haynes page to purchase it, it says it is only for UK and EU. i am located in Dominican Rep. Any suggestion to get the Haynes manual?
  11. i did replace that, gone for now, have not drive on highways yet to fully test it
  12. Hello guys! i always have had this sound when turning and accelerating to one of the side (dont remember exactly if to the right or left, i think both.) and when climbing a very step hill. but yesterday the sound came very strong and loud in straight and plain road. and i am not too sure of the name of those parts, i confuse all of them, cv joint, outer, or inner cv joint, drive shaft etc... https://youtu.be/7lwKIUFDkxw 20210727_000104.mp4
  13. Thank you guys! it is not the one in this country who insist to install a TDI without the turbo just because that is the most common engine of those cars here in this country.
  14. a guy ow appear with a Octavia 1.9TDI he insist is the same engine, just put my injection pump, remove the turbo and thats it... wait a minute, the turbo has a lower compression, if i uninstall the turbo of that engine, it will be a weaker engine than the regular SDI, am i wrong?
  15. interesting, the problem is that soldering that into that place... mmm maybe soldering then installing the bushings i guess
  16. Sorry for the late reply guys. YES that is, the bar has 'walked' sideways, how do i fix that?
  17. those springs are REALLY hard to find here, somebody has suggested me Octavia springs to raise it a little bit, what do you think?
  18. Hi, thank you for your help! no broken spring, at least it looks fine, regarding the noise... thats the weird part, the car feels perfectly fine, very smooth, i think too smooth front suspension, no noise at all.
  19. Hello guys! Since the moment i got this car i noticed two things, (this is a LHD vehicle), the driver side front wheel had a notable negative camber (not enough to wear the tire unevenly but it has negative camber and it is lowered some millimeters more than the right side, and the front in general is lower than normal. and past week, changing the right side tire i notice the stabilizer bar is touching the hub, check the photo. many told me that the springs are "tired" and need to be replaced, ok, but regarding the negative camber of the left tire, how do i change the camber? with the bal joint?
