  1. Sorry for the late reply guys. YES that is, the bar has 'walked' sideways, how do i fix that?
  2. those springs are REALLY hard to find here, somebody has suggested me Octavia springs to raise it a little bit, what do you think?
  3. Hi, thank you for your help! no broken spring, at least it looks fine, regarding the noise... thats the weird part, the car feels perfectly fine, very smooth, i think too smooth front suspension, no noise at all.
  4. Hello guys! Since the moment i got this car i noticed two things, (this is a LHD vehicle), the driver side front wheel had a notable negative camber (not enough to wear the tire unevenly but it has negative camber and it is lowered some millimeters more than the right side, and the front in general is lower than normal. and past week, changing the right side tire i notice the stabilizer bar is touching the hub, check the photo. many told me that the springs are "tired" and need to be replaced, ok, but regarding the negative camber of the left tire, how do i change the camber? with the bal joint?
  5. i uploaded a picture, i t think they are of magnesium, aluminium?
  6. Yes i got this car with those tyres and i will be needing new tires in 3 or 4 months and i am plplaning to put its original tires.
  7. i have 185/60 R14. Nop, no Euro label, when selling cars here, fuel efficiency is ommited in listings, ads, commercial and even at the dealer, unless you specifically ask for that information, and most buyer don ask for it... they dont care, they dont measure it, so you get an idea. i was thinking about getting a 185/70 r14 but dont know how much will that impact the urban circulation.
  8. i have one question, would bigger tires (diameter) give me better economy on highways? and a decrease in city?
  9. Turn up your volume and listen to that melody. Isn't lovely? I won't back to gasoline ever
  10. Goodmorning guys Most of the problems are gone No weird or unstable idling, no unstable accelerarion, power is back, no weird lights. And the engine sounds ABSOLUTELY LOVELY.
  11. That was not in my budget. But the car feels pretty nice now, the engine sounds beautiful. Nobody would imagine that it i smoking so bad
  12. It cost me the equivalent to us$137 with labor. And the guys had REALLY HARD TIME removing it.
  13. I am on my way to a place where they repair alternator. I have a voltmeter with me and the reading is 11.9v at iddling and mre than 13.7v after 1300 rpm Also:
  14. Not a bad idea, i have to put a new engine in this car, you would saveme the labor 🤣🤣
  15. Are those cable for signal or are there any load (the two small wires to the alternator) Check this video now He voltage goes up and dow with the rpm, because when the battery light goes off i hear the ac fan blowing stronger
  16. well, you have mentioned two suspects, the TPS and the battery/alternator. past two weeks lights were erratically (not the previous problem i mentioned couple of months ago) Today i used the car for a 200km trip and mid way the light of the steering came on, i continue to drive for 50km more, when i turn off the vehicle i was unable to turn it on again, then i notice the two tinny cable from the alternator were disconnected (the clamp/connector was already in bad state, i replace it with generic connector (but more secure than the old one and the car started immediately, now i am going to do some diligence and so i test the car. just in case, where is located the TPS?
  17. Hello guys! Since a week ago i have been notice a reduction in the efficiency and a lack of power and a unstable acceleration (with a fixed pedal position it feels like if i was pressing and depressing the pedal) I first thought it was due a bad quality diesel but then today, before turning off the engine i just decide it to accelerate it in neutral and i did notice the engine was not accelerating according to my my foot input. Please check this video
  18. 😩 Also, i have a question and need your opinions. Due the heavy oil burning, many have recommended me to use a sae 50 oil, the temperature here is 93 Fahrenheit most of the time.
