245 40 18 Tyres
When I enquired with my insurance company (Allianz) they just don't insure any modifications, full stop. It sounds like from the above posts that the new tyre size may not work anyway but good to know.

Thanks. Current insurance provider won't insure modifications so I'll shelve this idea for know.

245 40 18 Tyres
Has anyone tried slightly different tyre size from the standard. I'm running 235 45 r18 but there seems to be some very competitive pricing on 245 40 r18. I'm aware what the physical differences are but keen to hear from anyone who has actually had these fitted.. any issues?

Advice on a purchase of used Superb 2.0 TSI vs 1.4 IV
My software version is 0278. It's much better than the version that I had when I first got the car.

Advice on a purchase of used Superb 2.0 TSI vs 1.4 IV
You're infotainment might be due an upgrade to the software. Mine was painfully slow when I first got it. I'll check tomorrow what version mine is now running as its so much better.

Skoda Superb iv used prices
Supply and demand I would say. When I bought mine exdemo 3 years ago there weren't many around. Fast forward 3 years and I reckon a lot company cars leased on 36 months have now been handed back.

Advice on a purchase of used Superb 2.0 TSI vs 1.4 IV
I have a 2020 Superb iV SEL with just under 40k in the clock. I bought it because a lot of my journeys are short and I also really like the smoothness and low noise of the electric drive. I had a fully electric car previously but couldn't afford to go fully electric again on a car the size of the Superb so it was a compromise for me. It's worked out well and really don't regret it. I probably get about 20+ miles from the battery. For piece of mind I took out the Skoda All In plan at £29 a month which covers extended warranty, service, MOT and breakdown cover. I've been toying with selling for sometime now to go fully electric again but finding it very hard to find something comparable to the Superb that is affordable!

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I have the iV and have been considering something similar. Where did you get yours done?

Air Conditioning Not Powerful
Thanks for that. Sounds like it could well be the same issue. The car is 3 years and 9 months old, luckily I have taken out extended warranty directly with Skoda which I hope will cover this!! My problem is that it is quite intermittent, in that it seems to only kick in on longer journeys and once the car has had time to rest it goes back to normal. Hopefully the dealer will still be able to test for the problem somehow.

Air Conditioning Not Powerful
2020 Superb iV. The last couple of journeys I have had on the car have been 2 hours plus each way. On both of the last occasions about 90mins into the drive (having had the air con on low since start), all of a sudden dust starts blowing out of the vents, not just a little bit, almost like the vents are vaping!! If I put the air con on recirculate the dust doesn't come in. There is a noticeable difference in the power of the air coming out from the vents now though, almost like they are blocked. The power goes back to normal once the car has been turned off overnight and the air con put back on. Filter was last changed 8 months ago, about 8000 miles. Any ideas?

FL MY2021 Lane Assist Coding Possible?
Many thanks. I've run and saved a full scan, I've used VCDS a few times just for troubleshootimg but coding is new to me. Just got a bit stuck to begin with. Thanks for the link, I did have a look on the Ross Tech site but confused myself even more!

FL MY2021 Lane Assist Coding Possible?
I thought I would give this a try but I'm struggling to know which buttons in VCDS to click through. I have found the A5 module but not sure where I go from there to select the Bytes that I need to modify. Can anyone point me in the right direction on which buttons to press?

Skoda Superb iv4 - sound issues
I have the iV which is now also outside of the manufactures standard warranty. I did find the entertainment unit/screen painfully slow but updates at the dealer finally manged to fix it. I also had SOS error message twice which finally resulted in having hardware replaced. I really like the car but didn't want to risk expensive repair bills so took out the skoda all in plan at £30 a month which gives me extended warranty, MOT, annual service and breakdown cover.

Recall on IV...HV battery (93L8)
I had same problem with Winchester back in February. They even booked the car in, had it for a day then told me they couldn't carry out the recall!! They did manage to fix an sos error and another warranty it but not really the point though.

Recall on IV...HV battery (93L8)
Mine was booked into Winchester. They wanted the car for three days to do the recall and replace a telematics device due to sos error. Got a phone call half a day to advise car was ready to collect and they didn't do the recall as didn't have the correct tooling. Very frustrating.

Skoda iv EV Battery Recall
Recently got my iv back from its annual service. Apparently there is a recall on the battery and it needs to be booked back in... garage need the car for three days as the battery needs to be removed! I struggled to get much more info out of the dealer than that.. I know there were recalls preciously (link here) but not sure if that is what mine would be in for or not. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this. I looked up recalls online and apparently there are none outstanding on my car.

New purchase - SOS issue again
Did the software update do the trick? I've just got mine back from the dealers but needs a replacement control module fitted. Booked back in for mid Feb as apparently there is also a recall on the ev battery which is a 3 day job!!!

New purchase - SOS issue again
That's really useful to know thank you. The car is still under warranty and booked in for service next week so will leave this one to the dealer. My SOS light is solid red, would that alter the above advice?

New purchase - SOS issue again
My 2020 Superb iv is going back into the dealer for a second time now for the sos error. Was originally fixed with a software update. It's come back now but is constantly on and the SOS led light by the rear view mirror is always red. Not sure if software update will fix this or if its a hardware issue this time.

Delay in getting into Reverse Gear
Yes, that's definitley my issue! Will have to get the dealer to take a look at it then.
