  1. Sadly we don't have the Tdi Karoq here in Australia, however from what I've seen the Tdi Karoq is a "4x4". You do know the "4x4" isn't constant don't you. ?
  2. My Karoq has the indirect sensors already, just don't have the "live" version. With the limited reading I've done thus far I may just settle with what I've already got. It would be nice if Skoda offered the option to "up spec" however given everything is worked out to the cent, I sadly don't see that as a viable option sadly.
  3. Have you checked to see if all four (4) tyres are still I balance ? I did see someone mention it previously yet don't recall seeing if that had been done.
  4. Thank you, my vehicle already has the indirect TPMS I hope my vehicle isn't affected by SFD but knowing my luck I'll be locked out of doing what I want *shakes closed fist at VAG for killing everyone's fun*
  5. @JR RS whilst this may not be the correct section to ask this in (sorry if it isnt). The TPMS system on the Karoq, can this be done to my Sportline or is the system already there and I just need some codes to display the actual pressure (psi) instead of the current system ?
  6. Damn so people did get lucky on the freebies section. Though I doubt us Aussies are really catered for as we don't really sell alot of Skodas per year. Last check we have sold about 1000 more than the previous year which is good. My Sportline has the paddles, no torch as the light in the boot is a fixed LED light. Umbrella under the passenger seat, think ill stick to my Subaru golf umbrella which stays in the boot.
  7. Subject to the model, engine and packs you should be able to do this. However I'm still learning myself
  8. Another one of you lot over here hey ? Decided that living with the colonials isn't that bad after all haha. Well fingers crossed for you getting confirmed as an Aussie and then the Skoda following shortly.
  9. Yes I love the idea of having solar panels plus a back up battery. If I had of settled in the previous town I worked in, I would have gone the whole hog. I wouldn't put panels on the roof though, to many house fires with them causing problems for Fire Fighters. It's a shame VAG didn't bring a diesel option on the Karoq, I would have easily gone for that option instead of the EA888 in my Sportline.
  10. @Gerrycan the problem we have is the size of our country, the lack of EV charge stations and the vast distances we need to travel. Id love to see EV/hybrid cars be more popular here, however it would need someone super forward thinking to put things into practice. On a side note at least we don't pay the ridiculous price those in Singapore pay for owning a car. My Karoq if purchased in Singapore would equal around 130k AUD.
  11. Thank you @JR RS seems like it might end up being a pipe dream sadly.
  12. I wouldn't call that gap excessive at all.
  13. Thank you @JR RS @Berisfordagreed, if it comes with certain packs why not just add the two rear doors into the package.
  14. Here is an example of what I'm attempting to explain. The red led lighting on the rear doors as seen on @JR RS Supurb.
  15. Im putting this to fellow members, has anyone done or know of a way I can modify my rear doors to have the led ambient lighting? I know the rear doors on the Supurb had the lighting. I'd like to do this on my vehicle.
  16. @Fux post a photo please with what you're referring too.
  17. Thanks @JR RS I'm aware of that thread, im trying to figure out if I can put the colour changeable lighting as seen up near the door handle are.
  18. @Keepersball @David55 and @JR RS you all have fantastic looking vehicles. Im now wishing I purchased a Supurb instead of my Karoq. I appreciate this particular part of my question isn't in the correct area but has anyone heard or seen if its possible to retrofit the upper door illumination into a Karoq rear doors ? @SashaGrace I think you would have a few customers requesting you expertise if you ever came to Australia 😀
  19. My passenger side (N/S) has more of a gap than my driver's side (O/S) but in the big picture I'm not overly stressed about it.
  20. Random question, the + symbol you have on each rear quater panel/ C pillar. Could you explain that for me please.
  21. This is what I was refering too https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/333227542068
  22. I remember years ago SnapOn tools had a slip on/off seat cover for vehicle mechanics. Ill try and find a link for you so you understand what I'm attempting to explain. This sort of seat cover might help you out in some way.
  23. @newbie69could you source a jack, wheel Brace etc from a wrecking yard that deals with VW/Audi/Skoda vehicles? You may even be able to rig up a pin design to secure the spare tyre ? In relation to the wheel speed sensor part, it may flick up a code as the sensors may realise its got two different sized tyres. Having said this im still new to the product, and may not have all the knowledge others have. I think either @JR RS or even @SashaGrace may be more knowledgeable than myself. Best of luck either way.
  24. @Yusef If I was a gambling man I'd place my money on @SashaGrace anyway of the week. This lady knows her product and what will and won't work.
  25. As always @JR RS delivers the good news for those inquisitive minds.
