DTE Chip Tuning RS245
Hey all! Thanks a lot, video above explained it all to me and then comment about warranty - I made my mind and I am not going to get this box haha. Regarding the HP, yeah 300hp would be max limit i think so too. For me its more 0-100 that matters, not the top speed..

DTE Chip Tuning RS245
Hey! I came across this little box and I am wondering, maybe anyone have tried it on MK3.5 or even MK4 ? How is the performance and were there any faults during the prolonged use ? Also, were there any problems ? https://www.chiptuning.com/en/skoda/octavia-iv-nx3-2020/2-0-tsi-rs-245ps-180kw-1984ccm/powercontrol.html

Hey!! soo I received my H&R springs and Eibach spacers (10mm/15mm) and had them done yesterday 😈😏 My car has DCC and I did all works in Skoda official dealership. I can say I thought the ride will be harsh but to my surprise - it almost did not change!! What i noticed is no more stupid roll-overs on comfort, car handles tight and awsome. As sport car should handle 😈 regarding DCC settings - feeling is that every mode got a lil bit stiffer, like 10-20% tops. For me - its advantage and nice thing 😅 of course springs need to adjust properly over the week but overall - car looks SO MUCH better now 😍 Now waiting for my Maxton kit to arrive 😅 below pics before and after + some extras 😈 Insta @vrsmk4- Skoda Octavia IV pictures thread
Very nice car!! Congrats and enjoy I live in Lithuania, and also occasionally have these issues with lane assist and driving around potholes but as I hold my wheel firm and turn sharp, usually it just vibrates and thats it I have a question: How did you managed to put Waze in virtual cockpit ? I only get default navigation maps there...- Exhaust replacement 2.0tsi VRS?
Yep, unfortunately downpipe voids it :( They void warranty as according dealer: Stock DCC shocks have more wear/tear with lower springs so whole suspension is affected so it will void it... But oh well, is suspension will fail I will just buy Damptronic Coilovers then. Their price is similar to new DCC stock shocks- Exhaust replacement 2.0tsi VRS?
Oh sorry, cat-back will definitely not void warranty, but for "proper" sound you need to change downpipe and tune ecu so it works without OPF... that would void :( Electronic one connects to CAN-BUS (same style as for example towing trailer parts / better alarm) and as far as I have asked my dealer, it should not void warranty (i will try to get that on written matter).. But what I can say is that lowering springs, unfortunately void chasis warranty.. (i will install them next week and I already got asked dealer about it..)- Exhaust replacement 2.0tsi VRS?
You can always add "electronic active exhaust". Same ones they use in some Porsches, Audis etc. (new models because of OPF etc). Watch from 2:00 minute. I am thinking maybe try this one to not void my warranty..- Badge size and fitment
Ahh well i think then i will need to wait or wrap it 😅 thanks mate!- WTF Is happening System Gliches
Same here, happens sometimes, but I Just switch the user or wait a bit if it does not let me do that. What is more annoying is the "virtual pedal" for boot lift is not always working for me... Sometimes i have to use button in the doors (as even the key fob boot button stops occasionally from working)- Badge size and fitment
Hey everyone! Maybe someone knows if MK 4 front badge is the same size as MK3 ? I would love to get this black/moon white badge for my car, but it seems that it is only available now for MK3.... Thanks! http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-III/Octavia-III-original-Skoda-emblem-INT-version- Spacers pics with 19" wheels?
Hey! A little update on this topic: I have ordered Eibach spacers 15mm for back and 10mm for the front. Also I have ordered these new DCC compatible H&R Sport lowering springs. I will add this setup on stock R19 wheels and post a pic how it looks Springs will arrive in 3weeks.. Should be similar to this, as I got same springs. Just different wheels.- Spacers pics with 19" wheels?
Yeah, here are the threads about lowering springs with DCC (some posts and pics with DCC and Eibachs): On this thread you can see that DCC needs recalibration, but her Octy is lowered with HR 40mm both sides (which is a lot in my opinion). Other guy states he drove 30k with Eibach Pro Kit and DCC without an issue (Eibach lowers 20mm front 10 mm back). And also here:- Spacers pics with 19" wheels?
I have read forums here (superb, kodiaq) as well as Golf R and GTI forums abroad - seems like Eibach Pro lowering springs are good to go and keeps the DCC Comfort at nice level. Of course, over the time shocks have a little bit more tension. As Eibach lowers only 10mm back and 20mm front - I think they are safe bet (but if I would add HR lowering springs that lower 40mm - that could be a different story for my shocks and dcc).- Spacers pics with 19" wheels?
OK so I have decided to give it a go: 10mm front, 15mm back and Eibach springs with DCC and 19inch OEM wheels (same as in pic above). I hope my setup will look just as good as setup above (in my opinion it looks exactly perfect) and I hope I will still be able to drive 2 adults in the back as well as feel some DCC comfort (not all of it but at least difference between modes). Not that expensive and if something will not fit - I will have spare parts to sell haha- Spacers pics with 19" wheels?
I am actually currently considering making an order to get Eibach spacers front 15mm and back 20mm. Or should I go both 20mm ? Stock wheels for now, no lowering for now.- Maxton Designs and Concaver Wheels have worked some magic!
They said it will take 3-4 weeks to deliver. Yeah I am interested too, not so many pictures online to see how it might look 😅- Maxton Designs and Concaver Wheels have worked some magic!
Ok so i just ordered full set of Maxton design. not sure if I will buy wheels this year as I would need to lower my car a bit, and as i have DCC - lowering would cost me ~2000+good wheels and new tyres, so we reach around 4000-4500euros, so i might just wait for the next season. Maybe more affordable suspension kits will become available 😅 regarding Maxton - i will post pics when it will arrive. Very curious how it will look in stock wheels haha. It should be decent.- DSG Farts / cat-back exhaust
That is sad.. but well i think i will wait a bit or just try that electronic one... 🤔- Skoda vRS seat options
Hmm you guys in UK only get cloth seats ? I got my RS (not in UK) with Alcantara leather, fully electronic and with extention for the legs and massage option. But I have to mention that they cost 2100 euros extra- Maxton Designs and Concaver Wheels have worked some magic!
Yep, I am considering in the following weeks this Maxton set on my RS (hatch, white). Also, next month I will get new wheels, not yet decided which brand and style..... this is so hard :( Considering Concaver (premium and expensive so its only maybe), Veeman, Rotiform, Stuttgart, JR wheels..- DSG Farts / cat-back exhaust
Ahh that makes sense then... Thanks! These environment laws are sometimes annoying :( I know they are good but ehh.. Still Golf R and GTI and for example Seat Cupra sound much better.. I think I will wait for Skoda community to sort exhaust thing and maybe more custom exhaust available on the market (as currently none of the pages like Remus, Miltek, FI etc. have MK4 RS exhausts). Please post vid when you install cat-back! Also, it is not voiding your warranty ? And which manufacturer you are considering ? Thanks- Anyone found anything in the Shop?
For that price there should be animations and stuff (like in Mercedes Benz and other cars). - Skoda Octavia IV pictures thread
