Hey, I wanna share what happened this weekend and today, and maybe it has already happened to anyone else. When i started my car (MK4 RS almost maxed out trim) saturday afternoon - I got immediate errors, like SOS emergency system fault, lane assist, emergency break, blind zone assist, exit assist, start stop, ebrake, ACC and most important - airbag error (whole christmas tree just lit up my dash). I tried to reboot infotainment, reboot a car - nothing helped. The car itself drove fine, DCC worked, bluetooth and carplay worked fine. I though maybe its a temporary error as it happened before that i got SOS button error which cleared itself in 5minutes - but today was forth day that all errors were present. I went to the Skoda dealership for diagnostics and they did not find what can cause a problem as they had many many error codes on their screen and said that they do not know where to start. They suggested clearing all the errors and if any pop up, call them imemdiatly. After one more hour guy from the dealership came back and said that they cannot erase Airbag error and that its most likely Airbag controller block that is faulty and cause all of this and said that they cannot give my car bag for safety reasons and will order the part. Waiting time they said will be maximum 1week until its fixed (knowing that there are logistics issues everywhere i doubt that....). Also they offered a replacement car which is a joke compared to what I gave them to fix (its manual, no parktronics nothing, maximum basic, only bluetooth there). So now I am stuck with oldschool and waiting for my RS to be fixed.. Maybe anyone got this issue and solved it by changing airbag module ? What were the lead times ? Thanks!

Have you enabled Siri ? It did not work for me before Siri was disabled

I am driving almost a year with RS and H&R lowered - acc works flawlessly. No issues whatsoever and i did not recalibrate it. And mine is DCC i only did aligment and headlights calibration 😄

Petrol RS hatch here. I only drive in Sport mode (individual, everything set to sport except dampers - they are set to comfort, as I have it lowered). I also do not drive lightly, I like to go fast from when a green light comes, and love accelerating when possible. My city consumption: 14-18l/100km My autobahn consumption: 7.5-9l/100km (with ACC on and speed around 142-150km/h) Oh and I only buy 98 fuel. Coming from previously owned 2011 RS diesel - this new RS eats x3 more than old one

Happened for me! Twice. Already been in Skoda dealership etc. but no one could say something is bad and they tried with their phones and it was OK. Also happens ONLY with the waze app. However i found out that i think it is app fault (as my pixels appeared after waze app update). What helped me was i did a full reset of my waze app ( in search of waze app on phone type: ##@resetapp) And after the full reset - its already around 1 month - no issues Hope that helps. Weird issue though

Hmm which one? 🤔 as for MK4 they have only full black, but i want it to be black/moonwhite.. 😅

Now I am happy, last software update went with few hiccups but now when reinstalled - its just perfect. Screen is fast, no random sensor alerts so far.. Enjoying my car now

My is with H&R lowering springs and 10mm front 15mm back spacers. Back is just enough, would not go 20mm. Front is enough too as it MIGHT rub with 15mm and lowering (front hows down deep, tyre almost go under the arch).

Hey! I just want to ask a question regarding front badge. I have heard rumors that "tail" circle badge of Skoda logo from Superb MK3 fits perfectly fro RS mk4. Does anyone know which one fits and if it is true ? As I would love to order that with black/moonwhite combo.. Thanks!

After latest updates (they said there were 5 of them) my car infotainment started to be very annoying! While using carplay wirelessly woth iphone, the delay is about 5s (which means the navigation waze is 5s behind, music control and touch responsivness is very bad) and also i think because of that my screen starts glitching to rainbow colors while using any maps via carplay and if i press anywhere like air con button and then go back to carplay - its ok again). taking it to dealer on wednesday to rewrite software because before they did this “update” there were no issues with carolay at all…

Hey! Answered to you in PM already 😅 but short story for everyone else - i think they did not check it properly and they did not have another RS to compare. I will try to go to different dealer regarding this. Oh and also regarding occasionally flickering dash when its raining outside 🧐

I have exact same issue!! half year ago when i bought the car - massage was different as you say, it was going up and down front ant back. now it almost stopped going up and down, and there is some weird air noise during it. i am thinking to go for a warranty as i use massage often when cruising.. i thought i was maybe imagining things, but as i saw your post - i undrrstood im not alone 😅

Tried deleting old posts with pictures - could not do that (thought maybe I have MB limit...) Weird, maybe there is @Admin who could explain how uploading works ? Anyway, you can check on more photos in my instagram: @vrsmk4 I will upload bunch of pics through next and this week (had a photo-shoot) but i keep it 1-2 photos a day or every second/third day. Regarding splitter, everyday I feel more inlove with it. And regarding scraping well.. Happened few times where i had to drive through big sand/mud/potholes but no damage. No scraping when going slow on speedbumps etc. I think keys is - not to go fast when you see any kind of bumps. And you need to be careful when parking as most sidewalks are now just too high. Fitment was done by pro auto bodyshop/detailers, who had experience fitting Maxton products so it was 10/10. They said they can remove parts anytime too.

Soo now I have full Maxton kit on mine. I think sideskirts could be a bit wider. But overall - in real life looks much better than in pics! Was a bit surprised how large the splitter is haha. Also: why cant I upload more pics ? It says I only have 100kb to upload and does not let me to upload anything....

Mine is hatch, RS, no wiper. I have this option (thanks for this thread as I did not know about it before). It works nicely. I had a dirty rear camera, decided to try out this function and it worked well :)

Would love if they would release diffusser with full long reflector at the back (I personally love that reflector). Might wait until other versions of diffussers appear

Regarding number 2 - I had it too, but i fixed it. It was the spare wheel toolset that rattled. That fixing stripe which hold the toolset on the spare wheel was rattling. You need to see if plastic part (which you press to unstripe it) is not touching metal tools or it will rattle! I spun remaining excess stripe around it and it worked, almost no more rattle (sometimes i get it in hard roads but need to wrap that item more i guess... Not sure if you understood what I wrote but try it.
