Speak of the devil… I just had the “Front Assist is limited” message today. Cleared up after a minute. Just enough to make a photo of it. The literal message in Slovenian was: Delovanje sistema Front Assist je omejeno. There was some light fog.

Does the steering wheel noise happen while driving or standing still?

Are there pictures of the outside (and inside, for that matter) of old and new version? I'll try a web search, but two heads are better than one...

The problem is not the display brightness (that is a separate setting), but the camera "brightness" (another setting in the Park Assist settings menu, also adjusted automatically by the camera or software).

Hi! I noticed that the prices for Superb increased quite a bit, while the prices for Octavia remained that same (at least in my country). Is this due to the recent situation? How come it does not affect the Octavia? Or were there any changes/improvements this year? New engines (Euro 6 AP ? That is actually mandatory in EU). I noticed new models have USB-C while older had USB-A connectors. When was this change made?

Right. It is in the manual, even in my printed version. Case closed. PS: It was just unusual for me, since in other cars, it is reset even if I stop (turn off engine) for one minute.

The drive data (distance, time and consumption) "Since Start" is often not reset. It just continues from the last drive. Once even if the car was parked for two hours between the drives. Yet another software bug? How does it work for you? SW version is 1788

For me it is almost a day and night difference. See photos. (first is with lights on, second lights off) For example the parking space markers are almost completely invisible on the first, while clearly present on the second. Also the drain opening on the floor has much more details visible. This is not the best example, since most objects in the picture are far away, but it shows the difference.

I went thru all(?) settings and noticed no mention of AM at all.

Turn off the (front) lights next time, to see how it works. When you switch to wide view (the third icon on the top), do you see the (edges of) the license plates? PS: What is the middle icon? My car does not have it.

Just sorting out the question. Also, Bolero (at least mine) does not seem to play internet radios. Maybe it as payable option? Or you mean playing by ta mobile phone?

FYI, Toyota Yaris (2019) autolocks after about 15 minutes if left parked unlocked.

Could be. I did suspected the tyres a bit , but ... it was just a thought. We'll see how it goes...

I have a hatchback, maybe the estate/combi is different. With default settings, that is contrast and brightness in the middle, I can see almost nothing at night. For example in an unilluminated (back)yard or a street with bad streetlights.

After 4000 km I noticed this strange thing. I never noticed it before. When going in a curve, there is a vibration/noise, as if driving over furrows or grooves on the road (as if a tracked vehicle left its traces on the road). It happens when the steering wheel is around the position 11 or 1 o'clock. First I thought the road is like that, but then after the fifth curve I got suspicious. IT is the steering wheel position. It is not very loud, but noticeable. Strange, that was on Saturday, but now on Monday it does not seem to happen any more. I have a 1.5 TSI with manual gearbox, hatchback, wheel are 16" "TWISTER AERO" 7J , tyres 205/60R16 Anyone else had this?

You can not turn off the reverse light. You turn off the position light and the plate illumination. They are part of the camera picture (switch to wide angle view to see it on the display) and very bright (as they are illuminated and very close to the camera) so the "obscure" the rest of the image, which is much darker. I had (have) the same problem. At night, the image is almost completely black, therefore useless. Workaround is either: - switch off front lights (completely, including position) while going revers - the rear light will stay on - in settings set the rear camera brightness to max (changing the contrast does not seem to help) This seems like a design flaw. They missed that the license plate is in the camera view and interferes with its function.
