I'd own one in a heartbeat lol Think the insurance are being charged around £30 a day for this car so that's £1800 already.

So I still don't have my car back 🥲 Apparently the repair bill is up around £10K I don't know how, but I've ended up with an M340i as a courtesy car, not complaining at all about that lol

I have no doubt it'll be fixed. What complicates it is my lease company has a predicted value at the end of my term. If this devalues the car they may decide to not have it fixed as they'll 'loose' money over the 3 1/4 years left on my term. Makes it a bit more complicated as I'm not going to have any say in what happens really.

No courtesy car stuff sorted yet, it’s a company car so if have to submit everything to my director who then sends it on. Probably going to be sticker driving the wrecked work transporter for a few days! has made me realise I should really get the Sapphire back on the road again.

My Sync turns off instantly if i use the left hand controls. Sync works as it should bar the fact it doesn't 'remember' it was on after a power cycle. The update fixed all those other issues for me thankfully!

What other faults do you have? I've an issue with travel assist, but it's not related to the firmware. Only *fault* i have left is the sync on my climate turns off at the start of every journey.

Insist it's done. The update fixed all issues with my ACC. I've done maybe 1200 miles since I had the update with no issues at all.

It does update while driving, it just doesn't let you read the bug fix section when the vehicle is in motion.

Has anyone fitted the larger 340mm brakes to a diesel VRS?

Does anyone have a list of the fixes 1896 performs? I was always able to change mine, even on 1803

So got mine back. So far it’s fixed everything apart from the climate sync. Seems to be a bit faster to respond to things. I have a ping drive tomorrow and I’ll test the travel assist out. Hopefully it’s fixed the kmph and not overtaking issues.
