Ok, so just did the update. Everything went fine. Got a little over the air update after a few minutes that I’m now downloading.

You need to be on at least 1896 software. Old versions think the car is left hand drive and as such think our overtaking is undertaking and don't allow it 😞

I could never get that here - we don't have long enough motorways/dual carriageways lol

Does anyone know if 1941 fixes issues with the aircon sync setting turning off and the Canton sound settings resetting? My car is booked in for these issues in a couple of weeks and was curious if this software will fix? I've downloaded 1941 (thanks @varooom!) but I'm waiting to see what the dealership does.

How do we get it apart from going to a dealer??

If you click that physically forward it does stop the travel assist working.

I'm an avid shooter so security is important for me. As per the police I have level 3 security which consists of sturdy doors/windows with good locks, an alarm that can 'dial out' and I have a camera system around my property that also alerts me to movement etc. I went for POE cameras and found them very easy to setup.

As title? Does anyone know if the front and rear setups (discs/calipers/carriers etc are exactly the same between both cars? The 340mm VW setup that has no GTI plate on it.

I have travel assist. You don't need anything 'enabled' as soon as you press the travel assist button it will over ride any previous settings you have selected automatically (turns traction control and lane assist on for example)

You have to take the bumper off to get at the painted ones.

My cars getting a new steering wheel soon and I've a long list of other faults to be looked at while it's in - I'll add the wheel corrosion to it lol

With decent products? I don't use acidic wheel cleaner or any aggressive chemicals.

Mine is in for a new steering wheel soon and I’ve told them I want my software issues sorted at the same time. I’ve been in countless times with them and they need to start change modules etc in my opinion. Updates have fixed very few of the issues I’ve had since the car was new.

I’ve a lot of complaints about my car, the vent position isn’t one of them lol

Has anyone had any luck getting this rectified under warranty? One of my wheels paint is starting to bubble. Looks like the corrosion has started on the rear of the spoke and I moving it’s way round to the face.

That’s how it is on my VRS that has these unlocked as standard.

@djmartzianDoes it matter what version of OBD11 I buy? I was going to buy the *nextgen obdeleven device* as I have an Iphone. Will that let me perform manual coding?

Check for stonechips. A tiny chip killed one of mine when it was only a few months old.

My car is going in soon, I'll let you know if they manage to fix it!

Has anyone else noticed this? After a power cycle, my audio EQ settings seem to reset? Even though the proper EQ setting is shown as selected it's like it defaults to a flat EQ. I have to pick another setting, then select my original setting to reset it. Another annoying bug in the system!
