While fishing for some dropped change beside the drivers seat 

 

I noticed a little function button never seen before on the lower part of the B pillar pretty much hidden by the seatbelt which is about 1cm square, Does anyone have any clue as to its function...

Possibly the button to turn off the internal alarm sensors.

As gaz says it turns off internal sensors for alarm .

And now i know (after 3 years of owning it) perhaps there are other hidden mysteries..

Really helpful button if you are leaving a dog or kids, for a short period, in the car whilst wanting to lock the car.

"H" reg?  Assuming it's not 1990 or even 1969.  Is H just the first letter and it's actually 63, 14 or 64 plate.

I think that button also disables the towing away alarm sensor.
