Does my car have DCC I can't see it in the infotainment system etc?

Hi I want to drive through France to Switzerland. In the past ive stuck those AA beam deflectors on the headlamps. Can you adjust the beams for LHD now? Im dubious about putting stickers on and ruining the plastic headlamp "lenses". You never see LHD cars visiting UK bothering.....

I have a smart charger with AGM and pulse recovery but wondered is my battery AGM? It says EFB on it...? It charges up to near 15V.

Seeing it's 2020 14000 miles i guess that's how it's made. It really doesn't cope with mild long undulating bumps where it grounds out even. I realise it's more a limo and in all otter aspects it's Superb but really let down by the wallowing perhaps it should be rebadged SKODA Hippo mk III.

How do i know if i have DCC on a Superb ?

Would they be the same outside diameter? I notice the tyres are cheaper and i need cross climate 3PM+S to go skiing. Can i buy the rims in the UK?

Hi I realise the 235/40 R19 aren't ideal but it's there any way i can improve the ride? Every pothole is a potential cracked alloy and road undulations particularly cause the whole car to respond in kind sometimes even grounding out. I tried to select the sportiest suspension in custom mode. Anything help gratefully received. TIA

Hi My stop start is always deactivated. I understand that a while bunch of things have to be right for it to work. It worked when i bought the car but 3 months later it stopped and won't activate even after a long journey.... Tia for any help

Me too. When I go from autohold, put the parking brake on and shift from D, E or S to neutral I can feel the car stop pulling against the brake.

Update. Car tried to update itself from WiFi. I tried and failed to do this before and then the Skoda Connect ran out. I cancelled but it then said no map so updated from the SD card again which I luckily had stored in the owners manual wallet.

Success! Downloaded zips from portal using vin Right click on zip in Windows 10 open with explorer then copy all to sd card. About an hour to copy 29GB Set SD card to read only I put the SD card in slot 1 in car Menu settings System i think Update It found navdb Ok Displayed percentage Went for a drive Parked up When i came back it was still updating. No issue with turning off and locking up. Took about 40 mins I also added the image files to the sd card and updated these from the radio menu. You have to add any blank ones on your display manually which takes some frantic scrolling. Nothing for classic FM. Thanks for everyone's help😀

My left door mirror doesn't dip on reversing. I can manually do it by selecting L on the mirror control switch. It's set up to dip in the settings.

I see i have mib1 and mib2 and a txt file so it's that all? I just put this into the slot and do sd upgrade?

At the very least the ignition, but that’ll drain the battery a bit. My car shuts down when idling or with just ignition on.....

Oops i think i have a superb III. it's a 190 Sportline saloon 2020. Please correct if wrong and apologies i only just bought it.

Hi, I've downloaded and unzipped and copied 2022 update filkes to 32DB SD card. So what chance of ruining my 2020 Superb and having to creep back to the dealer.....

I can feel the gearbox load being removed when I go to neutral and I don't want to blind drivers behind me as I hate those doing it to me in front particularly big SUVs. I was just wondering if there were any issues with doing this. I wouldn't leave my manual ice car in gear even witha perfectly good clutch as the release mechanism is designed for temporary operation. I wonder what you have to do on your driving test.....?

Thanks for the info. Anecdotes referred to DSG 7 as per superb.iv. don't leave it in gear whilst stationary. Would love to see some definitive proof one way or the other. In a manual you obviously shouldn't leave it in gear. brake lights on in queues is a pet hate of mine so I'll have to check if they are on or not
