  1. just a quick update, so if you are wanting to service the dsg box and are a bit unsure how to get the levels correct, first and this is the important bit, if you have owned the car for a while and the gearbox as been working as it should with no problems, then the way i did mine was to drain the oil, making sure i didnt spill any, then just measure the amount u have taken out, so you know how much to put in, ive done about 6 thousand miles now on mine all working as it should
  2. Can anyone help were i start, changed the sensor, still the same,
  3. hi i read somewhere that a special tool is needed for this job, is this correct?
  4. yep i got a new one, tbh its not that i didnt know how it went back together but that b stard spring would not stay when feeding it into postion, hence major paddy, resulting in launching the git, kept the light just incase i find the liitle git in the future,
  5. what i found with my old sensor is that the sensor itself if ok and working, the link bar that connects to it and the wishbone, one of the ball joints had filled with crap, seizing it sold hence cracking the plastic link bar, a bit of pre maintance would stop this,
  6. hi how does this spring fit back, its blown my mind
  7. hi can re repost the pics please? nothing is showing cheers
  8. Hi does anyone know how many actuators there are inside a mk2 superb that operate the heating and directional functions? so ive had the clove box out found the 3 on that side, all working but im getting a fault code up saying front air distribution door motor actuator jammed, is there another actuator on the drivers side or in the middle, my car is a rhd, cheers for any help
  9. hi i checked the front sensor and found the link bar connecting the sensor to the wishbone had partly cracked leaving a hairline crack triggers the fault, anyways i changed it 2 week ago, all good, i would post pics but pics always seem to big for this site........
  10. hi ive got the code showing B10A415 signal wire for air quality sensor open circuit/short circuit to B+ ive changed the sensor but the fault is still there, any help would be good, my air con still works, but i read if the gas is low that could trigger this fault, is that right? im lost on this, cheers in advance
  11. Hi all in need of some help, so having a look for the air quality sensor on a mk2 superb i removed the cowling couldnt find the sensor but i noticed what looks like a ecu type silver thing under the cowling toward the middle of the windscreen, what is this for? but what i nned help with is that i found a pic of someones car and there seems to be plastic trim that covers it, what the proper name for it so i can buy one,
  12. it sounds like you mean the module on the rear suspension, if thats what you mean here is a link from ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335035410181?fits=Car+Make%3ASkoda%7CModel%3ASuperb
