  1. Thank you for these suggestions. I will check all these points.
  2. Hello, I don't think it's the accessory belt. Its intensity and frequency are constant and do not vary with engine speed. It cannot be heard when the vehicle is stationary, whether the engine is idling or being revved. Thank you.
  3. No, the frequency doesn't change. I changed the tires a few days ago, and the noise is still there. For now, it doesn't seem to be getting worse. So, I'm avoiding long trips and keeping an eye on it while waiting for a possible solution.
  4. Hello, I own a Fabia 3 (facelift model) with the 1.0L 110 hp engine and manual transmission, purchased new in 2020; it has covered about 37,000 km. A few weeks ago, a strange noise appeared, seemingly coming from the front of the car. The noise starts to occur after driving for about ten minutes. To me, the volume is clearly noticeable, but not loud enough to be picked up on a recording made with my mobile phone, as it gets drowned out by normal road noise (engine, tires, wind, etc.). It isn't a humming sound; it’s more like a rubbing or friction noise. Once it starts, it remains virtually constant in both volume and pitch: . regardless of vehicle speed (starting from around 20 km/h) . regardless of the gear engaged . whether the car is in gear, coasting (clutch disengaged), or in neutral . it doesn't change when shifting the load—testing by turning/loading the front-left and then front-right sides while driving at 70–80 km/h (I’m lucky enough to have stretches of good road nearby with smooth asphalt and relatively light traffic at certain times). Technicians at my Skoda dealership—where I just had the 6-year service done—said they took it for a test drive and didn't hear anything unusual. They also found no issues with the wheel bearings. The only option they offered was to run a diagnostic check for the tidy sum of €375.00. Before committing to that, I thought I’d check the forum to see if anyone might have an idea what the problem could be. I’ve searched online but haven't found any similar cases. Thanks for reading.
  5. Hello, At Kopacek, I found this model which I installed in my 2020 Fabia Combi in January 2021. The part number is F3-HDSTL. I haven't noticed any particular problems, especially overheating of my car. During servicing at my dealership, no comments were made, but I'll try to remember to ask about it next time. 6. (Google translate) Good morning. I have a Fabia 3 with a towbar fitted as standard. The photo shows the lever in the down position, and the red push button pressed. This is already the position to remove the neck by pressing the neck down. In this position, the lugs which hold the neck in the hitch are retracted, and the nock must come out. The lock is only used to prevent the lever from being operated. In your situation, operating the lock will not solve your problem. Have you tried using a little force? If you can't do this, in my opinion, the system is seized or out of order.
  7. Many thanks to rum4mofor the link to easymanuals. I downloaded the file for my Fabia: big document: more than 8000 pages!!!
  8. Have you tried Panasonic CR 2025 batteries, which are recommended by Skoda?
  9. Thank you for this response which reassures me.
  10. Hi, On my Fabia 1.1 TSI 110 from 2020, if I charge my battery with an external charger (Ctek Start and stop) completely and I take the car, the system displays a voltage of 12 volts for around 20 kms before returning to a situation normal (google translation...)

  12. Hello It seems that Skoda modifies the headlight bulb fixings according to the models. Here are photos of the headlights fitted to my 2020 Fabia Combi, with H7 bulbs. On the instructions, it is indicated that to take out the bulb, you must first press the base down, then take it out. Personally, I had difficulties, because the bulb got stuck. Eventually I pulled and pulled out the circular spring that holds the bulb, and had great difficulty getting everything back in place. (Google translation)
  13. The card must be formatted in Fat32, and the systems limit this format to 32 Gb. But software can format fat 32 cards without size limit. Example: guiformat.exe
  14. Hello, I am French and I use the Google translation. I had the same problem on a Clio 3 because the cooling system bleed screw was not fully tightened. The escape was very, very slow.
