I would love to tell you which particular adaptation I need, but the thing is I can't tell at this point, I tried to enable vip_kicktoclose but that has done nothing, then I tried all the easy close options, and no go, so if you can do the whole admaps that will do the trick I guess! If you can, I need the admaps for module 05,module 09, and module 6d, that would be a life saver! Cheers!

Didnt want to hijack the virtual pedal retrofit thread, so made a new one. Im trying to code my factory fitted VP to have kick to close, found several sources that state all you need to do is code in 09, and 05, and thats it, but does not work for me at all, ill attach vcds config files for 05,09, and 6D, can i get someone that has kick to close to scan and otput theirs so i can match them, im wondering if the HW or SW revisions need to be different, or its just a case of me not having the double buttons on the hatch, or something else! Cant answer all the questions, but i wanted to try the ambilight retrofit, and i was told you cant just change the trim which has ambilight strips, i was told you need the whole door trim, and for me that would be all 4 doors, and the dash as well.. so i just forgot about it!

Yeah, i would be surprised as well, the thing is that the set comes at around 1.100 EUR, sourced from Ebay, so im reluctant to spend that much money just to have a bigger full touchscreen.. As all i need i have now, so i might abort that upgrade, and use that money on some visual upgrades, rather than a fancy screen, that wont bring me anything i dont have now, like DAB, Sim card, SD cards, i even have premium bluetooth now.. so i guess ill just pull the plug, and use that on exterior mods.. The only thing, if i do the VC retrofit, not sure which functions of the VC i loose if i keep mib 2?

Thanks, one of my main objective is to get skoda connect, as i do have a car with a webasto, so for me to be able to start it without the remote, over phone would be nice, and yes i do plan to retrofit the VC, and i already have the mib 2 with sim, so i have the antennas, i as well already have DAB, so no new wires i guess.. Ill try to source an MIB 2.5 with LTE, DAB, for me the premium bluetooth is not as important, as i always use android auto/apple carplay for the wife. But for Skoda Connect, i have been told that Skoda dealers wont let you have it if your VIN number did not come with one, so im kinda reluctant on pulling the trigger, as that is my top priority, togheter with VC retrofit.. Ill try to get in touch with Pab, and see if he has any advice! Thank you guys!

Aynone managed to swap the lights on the boot torch for some normal white LEDs, from what i understand the boot torch has LEDs in it, the ones that light up yellow, but they are soldered to the torch, right? Can you buy a replacement torch, newer one that has white LEDs? Thnx!

Mines a Style level of trim, so i would say thats an SE L in UK, my trim is the one lower from L&K.. And its a 2016 MY, so not sure how i dont have any filament type bulbs on the front, except the stock fog lights, which i updated to LED as well.. I do have Bi-Xenon on the front, wondering if that makes any difference?

Well, for certain i know that on the 2016, the reverse is a P21W, the rear indicators are PY21W, the fronts are not a filament type on mine, as its integrated in the LED DRL strip, wondering how a 2020 one would not have DRL LED strips/front indicator! The reg plate lights are indeed LED, and no there should not be any more filament type bulbs on the exterior at all.

Yeah, well, as long as i have room to stuck my hands in there, i think ill make it, they are all torx screws right? So a nice magnetic bit, on a swiwel should do the trick i guess..

Anyone has some advice on removing the front grille with the frame, im about to do mine in a few days, i dont plan to remove the bumper, from what i have seen, you need to remove the top plastic to expose the bolts that are all around the grille, then undo them, and remove the whole assembly? I ordered the complete black grille with the black frame, so i can replace the whole piece at once.. Is it doable without removing the front bumper? Thnx guys!

Hey guys, need some advice, i have a MY2016 superb combi, with an MIB2 Columbus, im looking to upgrade to MIB 2.5, and a newer Columbus, now, what would i gain, other then a nicer looking screen, can i get wireless android auto, and apple car play? And what about the skoda connect? will i be able to use it, as i do have a car with webasto which i would love to controll via the app! Im looking for an 565035021X HU, and a 3V0919606D screen? I assume i can keep al my functions that i have now, meaning i will be able to controll and program my webasto on the screen, as well as have my park pilot and camera still work on the new MIB 2.5? Thnx in advance

Also, just seen that its not a complete camera casing, just the camera itslef, so can i remove the one i have from the housing, and just slap this in, and is there a variant of the camera for the Superb MK3 that has the whole assembly, with washer preparation? Sorry for bothering you!

Thank you, will try to source that camera, and yes, i have park pilot, sensors all around the car.. i thought i just need this camera 3V0827566A and that it would work, before i order anything, is there a way to check out which camera exactly i have now, as i thought all RVC high cameras are the same.. and that only rvc high has all those modes, and guide lines.. sorry if i sound confused, as i really am, if i had time i would just go and connect my trailer and see, but i just dont have the time at the moment..

Ok, so first of all im very sorry to raise this from the ashes, but, i do have a valid question. On my 2016 superb combi, when i put it in reverse i do have the guide lines, and all the other modes, the one which shows obstacles in red squares, the fish eye, the tow hook. But, i have read that if you have a factory fitted tow hitch, and you want to use trailer assist, you need RVC High, in the documentation with all the specs my car was ordered with, i have 161 KA2 VWGROUP KSU "REAR VIEW CAMERA MID", looking at all the available info i could find, there were only 2 options, lowline, and highline RVC, and i have a rear wiper, and the camera does not have the wash nozzle! So im kinda confused now, i still didnt have time to hook up to my trailer and see if i get the option to use trailer assist once its coupled.. so any help on identifying which camera this is? Thank you all in advance!

Sasha, any chance you can share the reward door puddle light mod? Whewr would one tap in the lines if I don't have them? I ordered the superskoda ones for both front and rear but I don't have any rear door instalation. Or is there a module I can buy to have it original? Do you maybe have the part number, mind you I'm in Europe so maybe they are different here..

Well, coming from an A6 with bose sound, my 2016 superb combi with canton is a bit underperforming compared to my Audi, but its not a failure, i have no need for upgrades as 99% of the time its driven is with two kids onboard so no use in blasting the stereo.. But, i do have a question, do you need to set your bass, mid, high levels, sourround sounds, subwoffer level for every input type? Meaning, if i set my sound the way i like it on radio, will it be the same on music played from the hard drive/sd cards, or when using bluetooth? I did notice a difference with bass when i plugged my phone in to use android auto, and there are no sound settings when in android auto? Sorry for the long post!

All non oem i fitted always gave out on the drivers one, especially on the heels of your foot under the driving pedals.. so i just stick to OEM.. my 2 cents..

Well, been driving Audis for 16 years now, had some ups and downs with those, considering i had 3x 2.7Bi-Turbo audis, im ready for a nice 2.0tdi dsg, although its a 2016 car, im still really excited, yes!

From my experience, i tried a lot of claimed "premium" non OEM options, and none were comparable to the original Audi ones i end up buying every time, now this goes for Audi, as i am yet to pick up my Superb on Friday..

Seemed to me as well, is that a pain to retrofit, and can it be done? I would love that, even my 09 Audi A6 had that..
